Poor Colby, today's ep was pretty awful.
Yeah when Leah smacked him over the head I said why didn't she do that weeks ago

The whole Leah storyline was very sinister, I think they probably had to end it there because the insinuation of non consenting sex and DV would have been too much for daytime soap but it did seem to be over conveniently quickly. She runs away and luckily it’s Justin’s car she runs into. Considering she’s been gone for weeks we got a couple of episodes to play out the hideousness of her situation.

@Fi1982 I completely agree there could have been a slow build up to it. That would have made much more sense.

Poor Colby getting stabbed with those scissors. Kidnapper chap just went back to his lair and hid in a wardrobe I wondered how he had called off the creepy wedding ceremony. Did he call his men's group and say "oh she's managed to run away"? I need to know more about him and the woman in the photo he gave Leah.

I did notice how we were meant to infer that he hadn't raped her because he made that point about having been very patient and looking forward to the wedding night 🤮 so it seems she's been spared that at least. Although given that she's been gone for six weeks, you'd have thought that the possibility might have crossed Justin and Irene's mind, yet neither of them have mentioned it! Day time soaps are funny worlds to be in sometimes...

Haha good point Curb, why the hell was Creepo just chilling in the wardrobe rather than fleeing for the hills! Re calling off the wedding, maybe his ‘like-minded’ men’s group have a WhatsApp group for easy communication 😂

Very true OnlyLiving, plus there was no indication that anyone had checked that side of things at the hospital. I guess on the daytime soap scale, systematic sexual abuse spanning weeks is too abhorrent to even hint at, whereas a Tommy-style tussle is just about allowed... although isn’t H&A on in the evening in Oz?! I wonder if a line got cut from the UK episode, like some of the Tommy stuff did?

Yey! No-one I know in RL watches it. I am completely in love with several of the characters, and Rafael Barba is one of the best characters ever created on TV.

It's one of the shows DH doesn't watch so it's when I'm alone telly. Altho alone Inc's 2 4 month old babies these days lol

If anyone has amazon prime, they have 3 seasons of home and away from the very first episode. I haven't watched home and away in years but this is my new guilty pleasure and have been majorly binging on it

Yes John isn’t being his best kind self at all😤. I hope it’s just a blip and he has a character makeover... he was a jerk when he first joined the show so maybe he’s reverting to type 🤔
Bella is still doing my head in and making me dread my kids’ teenage years (I know she has extenuating circumstances, but still)
I was hoping Roo would do the “double take” when she saw Ari but there was no spark at all 😔

I had high hopes of him waking around the caravan park topless and her doing the double take and then something breaking in the house and her needing his help so they got to spend time together. Roo is one of my favourites. Not impressed who he does get with

Ooooh I really wanna know who Ari gets with then! I think Roo is too old (in the minds of H&A writers at least) for Ari... she’s got to be about 50 and I think he’s supposed to be mid 30s..?

On a different note, did anyone else watch the Summer Bay Christmas special?! I just found it on catch-up and it’s 30 minutes of absolute unadulterated Gorgonzola 😂 it’s the cast having some weird staged Christmas do and it’s awkward as arse 😂

Although saying that I just got a bit choked up at Ray’s closing speech thanking da fans 😢 can’t believe I’ve been watching H&A for over 30yrs!! Made me think about all the years gone by and old memories (mine and Summer Bay based ones!). It’s very easy to shed a tear at the moment with all that’s going on in the real world, so thank Jebus for H&A and all its enjoyable distractions 💖

The Aston brother looks too young, or is it just me?

I thought he looked too young given that Maggie was supposed to have slept with him before Ziggy was born, and she's 21. So from the coming up trailer at the end of yesterday I'm assuming Jasmine is pregnant

I was wondering what birthday it was meant to be. Ziggy must be 22 but weren't they quite young? So maybe 20ish when she was born? guess if Maggie was 19, brother could have been 17, he'd be 39 now?
