Heath always was my favourite river boy . Although I did love all the Braxtons! I hated seeing poor Tane all sad after his sleepover with Ziggy.

Please can someone give me a basic overview of Heath's storylines from the past? I recognise the name but remember nothing (shit memory/had a big H&A break at one point and never know which is to blame!)

Ok, I have insomnia and googled Ric. So his father Owen was Alf’s son!

Back in the day, a very young Alf met and got together with Viv Standish. This was pre Alisa and Martha. They got engaged but she was a bad un and left, pregnant. She gave the baby to a childless couple, the Dalbys, unbeknownst to Alf.

Not sure how the family ties materialised, but ultimately Owen died from a heart attack after being attacked by his son Ric. He was quite abusive I think.

Can’t find much about his mum but she died as well and I guess how Ric came to be a fister kid at Flynn and Sally’s.

In my dig I was reminded about Colleen being Alf’s half sister from his dad’s affair! Also discovered Alf has a couple more sisters after the formidable Morag!

From memory: Heath Braxton is the second oldest brother (after Daryl “Brax” who went off into the sunset with Ricky and baby Casey, before Casey who died and surprise youngest Kyle who is serving a long sentence for someone else’s crime- wonder if he’ll bump into Colby 🤔) and he landed up marrying teacher Bianca - they had a baby Rocco that sadly died of SIDS - that was a very sad SL 😞
They had a very tumultuous relationship - her being a strong passionate Italian and he being a fiery River Boy always getting into dodgy scrapes.

I can’t remember if they had another baby 🤔

Heath also has a daughter by another woman pre-Rocco and a son by another woman (conceived during a one-night stand when he and Bianca were on a break).

DS loves Heath and Bianca's storyline because he says they managed to escape Summer Bay before getting shot/dying in a car crash/dying of cancer and sustain a relationship elsewhere: they symbolise the H&A happy ending for him 😂

Wow, so Alf has five children, I had forgotten about Owen. Amazing how he didn’t mention the name when Ryder‘s dad and uncle turned up!

So Alf has Owen, Quinn, Roo and Duncan - who's the fifth?

Thanks @AiryFairy1, turns out I remember none of that I remember Brax and the River Boys as a concept but pretty much none of the storylines!

The fan wiki lists those 4 as Alf’s children: Owen, Quinn, Duncan and Roo.

I meant to add 👆🏽👆🏽that as recently as June 2020 the Ric actor has said he’s open to a Ric return (he’s been in the States doing his music and now back in Aus presumably looking for work!

Yeah Heath and Bianca had another baby I think. Alf had 5 sisters I think, Collen, Morag, Barbara, Celia and Debra.

Sorry, I added in his stepdaughter Shauna, as listed in the Wikipedia entry. Got muddled counting!

I definitely think if Colby hadn’t tried to brazen it out until the very last minute, he could have got his murder charge down to manslaughter by diminished responsibility. To review, Ross
a) abused him as a child
b) murdered both of his parents
c) held his sister captive for years
d) abducted his sister, wife and friend, and
e) shot Willow
If Morag had been on the case, she would have sorted it for him...

I agree @AppropriateAdult - he could’ve played it so differently. Although any jail sentence for a cop might have the same outcome which he was trying to avoid.
But yes, Morag would’ve worked it out.

Completely agree! Morag would have been such an asset to this storyline.

I still find it completely implausible that Colby was not put in the special wing for vulnerable prisoners, but obviously I'm not watching for plausible and realistic storylines 😀

Morag would have got him in the special wing for 5 years.

Toadie would have had him hung.

Now I know I moaned about Heath but I enjoyed that little appearance. He looked like he was having a lot of fun. Wonder if the Paratas really are home free now.

Alf and Martha had Room. She "died".
She had Kieran, the guy in it now.
He married Ailsa who had Duncan who was an utter brat. He came back in the last few years and had a fling with Tori but his ex has a degenerative illness and he chose to be with her to care for their child

Was Martha before Ailsa? If so that could be it as Duncan is Ailsa's son with Alf

Also loved Heath's appearance, really hoping it wasn't just that brief appearance though... We need him back swoon
