I want to know what the hell has happened to Alex. I swear if Shonda gives him some shitty exit excuse that doesn’t fit with his character development I’m going to be livid.

I've gone back and watched station 19 from the beginning. It's on prime. I'm really enjoying it. It's got more humour in it like early Grey's. 911 is great daft fun.

I tried station 19 for a second time and I just can’t get into it. It’s almost like a caricature, the actors are so over the top strutting around being big hard firefighters. Not believable.

Really hoping that with Amelia and Linc the writers are just adding some drama and that they get over this hump and it’s a happy ending

I’ve found station 19 quite over the top. Macho. I’ve only watched it for some light entertainment but haven’t invested in it.

Watched this weeks last night, it was better than the last two, but still not sure about it.

I don't like what's happening with De Luca, and I'm hoping Linc and Amelia get back together

Just caught up on last weeks episode..... so annoying that station 19 is so involved.... I really don't need another series to watch!!!!

Tbh in suprised how old Meredith and Sandra Oh are too.

Yeah I've taken to watching S19 for continuity but also watching 911 so I have to seperate them so I don't get muddled but 911 is better

Hang on, Chandra Wilson is 50 too. So when she was giving all the new interns a hard time in Season One, she was actually more or less the same age.
So they were supposed to be fresh out of medical school and she was supposed to be an experienced doctor! I can’t remember her title exactly but she certainly gave the impression of being the chief.

Bailey was a resident when they all started as interns. She eventually became chief resident after Callie initially got the nod but proved to be shit at it. So Bailey wasn’t even an attending at the beginning, she was only ever supposed to be a couple of years beyond them.

I also think too many crossover episodes will get annoying.

How can you not watch s19 even if it's just for Warren

Katherine Heigl is 41, which is the age they're roughly meant to be, so they cast really old for all the other characters in her intake. Sandra Oh auditioned for Baileys job, who would be about 44/5 which makes sense with the peri menopause and pregnancy. They're 48 and 50 respectively.

Amelia is meant to be 7 years younger than Derek who is 12 years older than Meredith, which clearly they "forgot" as that would make her 48 and her pregnancy much more of a suprise than it is. She's actually 38 in real life which seems more likely, that she's between Mere and Maggie whoo is 5 years younger than Meredith

I stupidly was looking up the characters bios on Wikipedia yesterday and it said what happened to Alex Karev (don’t worry won’t say here) but am now annoyed with myself. Thankfully I stopped at Alex when I realised what was happening!!

Sigh. I looked it up too although I’d seen it followed. A bit of a cop out really. And lack of build up. Disappointing to say the least.

I stumbled upon the info on Alex leaving. I tried not to read too much. But as for why, he gives a vague reason about exploring other career opportunities. Rumours are a falling out with Shonda, like usual. Who knows?!
