We've got Virgin telly and must have the channel on a free trial. I've binged watched up to the current episode and just had a message saying "hope you've enjoyed this few trial, but if you want to carry on watching it you have to pay!"

@doje oh no! We get it on a Now Tv stick, don't know how much it is but probably considerably cheaper than virgin.

I really enjoyed tonight’s episode. Even though a bawled my eyes out at the end because I was once in the same situation as Bailey. But I loved getting to know the interns better. I actually know their names now and I can’t remember noticing Brody before, which is surprising as she is so bloody gorgeous!

I hadn’t realised who those interns were. Only one I recognised was Parker.

I didn’t know his name was Parker! I only knew Schmidt. I knew Helm to look at as she has featured a bit, but not her name. Definitely not her first name. Brody, never seen before. New guy, I still don’t know his name. And the Muslim lady wasn’t there, but I don’t know her name

I think her name is Qadri. But I think Bailey fired her because she was moaning about not getting to work with Dr Grey

Yes, Qadri's gone - fired a few episodes back and someone mentioned her having a new job. I'd never seen Brody before either but they were all over her last night. I wonder whether she's being wheeled in for a big storyline.

I think they’re realising they’re need to bump up the interns to more major characters. I reckon Brody is going to be the new ‘kick-ass gorgeous female’. I totally missed Qadri being fired!! Shame. It was good to have a positive female Muslim representation

I just looked on greys anatomy fandom.com and Brody has been around since Arizona’s time! How did I not notice her?! I didn’t even really register her last night.
I guess she’s just been in the background and given the occasional line to speak but essentially an extra.
Whatshisface who had PTSD and went off to hide last night, could have sworn I’d never seen him before either.

That was Parker. He’s definitely featured a bit. Also a trans character, played by a trans actor, so was made a big deal of at the time by some. It was mentioned one episode

Oh, that’s Parker. I wonder who the hell Parker was when Sauron referred to him. I only knew Schmidt by name and sight and Helm and Quadri by sight.

Googling Parker has just led me to this: www.closerweekly.com/posts/greys-anatomy-b-team-web-series-151060/ - apparently there's been a digital-only spin-off series about the interns! It was two years ago. I wonder if it's still available anywhere online.

Ah - It's only a mini-series though - the whole thing is only 16 minutes long.

Parker was heavily involved in the episode a few seasons ago when the hospital was subjected to a cyber attack and all the computers went down and the fbi came.

Schmidt has been in loads - he got the nickname glasses when his specs fell into the surgical field.

Helm was very involved in the episodes when they had that patient who had heart and kidney failure and was a match maker and was getting Meredith to choose who to go out with between linc and de Luca. The patient was the one who twigged that helm (also called hell mouth by grey) was in love with her. Must have been the start of the last season maybe?

Oh yes - he's some kind of genius computer hacker, isn't he? Didn't he hack into the database to change his gender? I'd totally forgotten about that.

Blimey, i must have been watching half asleep. I thought Helm just admired Meredith, maybe had a tiny crush on her, but in love?!
And while Schmidt was most familiar to me of the newcomers, it totally passed me by that he had changed gender.

Schmitt hasn't changed gender, Parker has! Keep up!

I really think I gave that facial blindness thing. I didn’t recognise my own brother in law, who I’ve known 40 years, when I bumped into him the other day (but in my defence he was wearing a mask which not only hid his face but muffled his voice )
Also effie was talking about Schmidt above and then Spider said “oh he’s some sort of genius who hacked into the computer and changed his gender” and I didn’t realise she was talking about Parker.
Clearly I need to watch and listen more closely!

Bailey made me cry in this episode. Brilliantly acted, that raw emotion 🙁

Laughed at Owen and Avery’s reaction to ‘emotional’ Dr Tommy.

I feel for Tom.

Bailey and richard was so well acted and so very sad.

Agree with pps - Where did Brody come from?

I literally have no idea who Brody is, I actually thought she was part of the station 19 gang. Has she really been an intern for some time?

She’s been an intern for ages but has barely been in it. I suppose you couldn’t really have the interns stealing the limelight from the main characters but I’ve found them a bit underwhelming.
