Good, that means we won’t be too far behind. The scenes where Claudia gets custody of Aster and the Kennedys have to hand her over are absolutely heartbreaking. Sam is such a cow.

Lovewineandchocs · 03/05/2020 12:40

From Australian TV Week

Shaun's Alive!

With the walls closing in on a scheming Claudia, the fate of her missing son is finally revealed.

Claudia visits Elly in prison with Aster, as part of the custody requirements. Elly feels powerless in prison, particularly knowing she can't provide safety for Aster while she's there.

While Claudia thinks her cunning plan for permanent custody is working, she's unaware Chloe has been doing some sleuthing. Her tenacity has unearthed strong evidence that will enable the Kennedys to regain custody of Aster while Elly remains in prison.

When Claudia realises the jig is up, she decides to flee the country with Aster. But when she arrived at the airport hangar to board her jet, she's stunned by who she sees there: her son Shaun, who was thought to be dead! Claudia is in total shock and overwhelmed that her son is standing on front of her.

Shaun lust for adventure put him in a sticky situation and found himself fighting for his life. Now he's trying to deal with an overload of information which is a confusing and isolating time for him.

Wanting nothing more than to reunite with Elly and his daughter Aster, Shaun demands that Claudia face the music in Erinsborough. He's devastated that she's trying to separate his family and tries to reason with her.

Can Shaun convince Claudia to give up her plan to leave the country with Aster and return the baby to her home in Ramsay Street?

SleepingStandingUp · 04/05/2020 00:51

Impressive timing. We totally called alive Shaun tho from the second they said "they can't find the body..."

Apparently it is Pierce who was Naomi’s past. Bit disappointed.

CurbsideProphet · 04/05/2020 21:57

Ah good the light is at the end of the tunnel as far as the Claudia storyline is concerned.
Who is Karl's past girlfriend? Have we seen her before? I only remember Sarah and Izzy!

Lovewineandchocs · 04/05/2020 23:13

She’s called Olivia Bell, played by Alyce Platt, who also played Jen Handley back in the day. I think Karl only went on one date with her. She was a blind lady I think.

Lovewineandchocs · 04/05/2020 23:16

Sorry, meant to say she was a blind date Grin I think they went out twice.

Starburst8 · 06/05/2020 12:26

Neighbours is back on 5 days a week from next week. Whoop whoop

CurbsideProphet · 06/05/2020 17:07

@Lovewineandchocs was that around the time Susan was married to Alex?

Lovewineandchocs · 06/05/2020 18:48

curbside no it was around the end of 2012. Susan worked at the Erinsborough News I think, and Priya Kapoor was having her affair with Paul.

CurbsideProphet · 07/05/2020 22:01

I don't remember that at all!

Lovewineandchocs · 08/05/2020 15:03

It was very short lived, they went out on one date then Karl got overexcited and provided a Heston Blumenthal style tasting session at number 28-she got freaked out by all the trouble he went to and didn’t go out with him again Grin

MiddleClassProblem · 08/05/2020 23:18

Why did they split that time? I can’t remember them splitting since Alex but it used to happen so often 😂

Lovewineandchocs · 09/05/2020 13:14

I think it was due to the strain of Ringo’s death and the whole Steph baby lie, then Karl was jealous of Susan being friendly with Jim Dolan. As far as I remember they were about to divorce in 2013 but Sarah Beaumont convinced them not to sign the papers and give their marriage another chance.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/05/2020 14:11

I don’t like mean for the sake of it Paul. I like bad ass Paul and secretly friendly Paul.

Lovewineandchocs · 10/05/2020 15:31

Me too. I hate the fact that he’s trying to drive a wedge between Chloe and Pierce just because of his dislike of Chloe and business differences with Pierce. Also it feels like around the 6 billionth edition of Hotel Wars Erinsborough Grin

CurbsideProphet · 15/05/2020 17:27

Yes we they do seem to bring back "hotel wars" and mean Paul every few months.
I'm so glad the Elly / Aster / Claudia / Shaun / Finn storyline will be resolved in the next week or so 🙏🏻

CurbsideProphet · 23/05/2020 13:29

Do we know if Dee and Toadie are going to be together properly, or will Dee be going back to Byron?

SleepingStandingUp · 23/05/2020 18:01

I don't think the actress has signed up for a proper stint, so presume it'll all go wrong again

OP posts:
Lovewineandchocs · 23/05/2020 19:27

She hasn’t signed up yet but she did say she’d like to come back permanently. I wonder if they’ll kill off Andrea and just have her play Dee? That’s if she does come back permanently of course. I don’t think she will in this stint, I hear the Heather thing gets between them and Andrea’s scheme involves Dee and it’s all too much for Toadie, so I reckon they’ll split for a while before any permanent return.

MiddleClassProblem · 26/05/2020 21:38

If she comes back permanently she has to dye her hair. The wig game is appalling

Lovewineandchocs · 27/05/2020 14:53

Awful isn’t it? And she really suits dark hair too. I fear they are keeping both Dee and Andrea blonde for a reason, like they did last time. Although Andrea pulling a prison switcheroo does sound far-fetched but it is Neighbours Grin It would be beyond belief that she would try to fool Toadie again but perhaps an escape would buy her enough time to snatch Hugo and run, using the money Claudia put into her account.
