I’m a boy fed up of people returning even in someone’s head. I’d like some fresh blood. I’m sure we will hate them at first but I’m willing to put up with them being irrating for a few months before they settle to being good characters.

Yashvi has left too apparently and the insta vids she is appearing on on cast’s stories may be old.

I don't mind some people moving back from time to time, because that does happen IRL. It's weird in most soaps that once someone has left, they are never mentioned again, which is also weird, because people do ask, "have you heard how X is getting on?" "We had a call from Y," that sort of thing, especially when family. I think Neighbours is better at this than some other programmes.

But there's a balance. You also get new people in real life.

Susan's the reason I don't want something bad to happen to Bea, she wouldn't cope.

Yes Neighbours is much better than say Home and Away where Donald Fischer is an excuse for Alf to be off screen and sane with Irene's kids but thats about it.

I agree that it’s nice to see some old faces every now and again but it’s been so many. And with what’s her face the book writer back too it’s just annoying. They aren’t bringing back many characters that we really want to see and they are also bringing back lots who have no reason to be there. The whole point of the weddings last year was that it was meant to be exciting to have lots of old faces back but since then it’s been an old face every month. And now even from beyond the grave. Finn will not beat Jim in a bauble.
I don’t think it’s realistic to have so many people coming back in such a short space of time. I accept that book lady probably lives in the area. Fay doesn’t need to come back to die. The whole point was that she was too sick to travel about so much.

They should bring back the Kennedy kids for a social birthday / anniversary suprise complete with all the grandkids

I agree the old cast returning would be better if it were characters we wanna see.

Since Bea is leaving I think Mackenzie has taken over for being first in the well.. Followed by Nicolette. I really can't do with her smugness and it's really putting me off watching now

Looks like she'll be regretting soon enough if Brent and Emmot stuck around. She didn't look happy when the guys said he could visit as often as he likes.

So it looks like Yashvi, Shane and Dipi are all leaving. I wonder if Mackenzie will just be a street nomad or go. Probably the former but I hope for the latter!

Oh wow. Reckon they'll move to the kids / dipi's family. Mac could stay on as au pair / Environmental Welfare Officer and Solicitor with Toadie.

They're going to need a new family though - who will run the coffee shop? And that's the Police force down to 1 so ideally the need Dad coffee shop owner, Mom police officer and three high school kids

Yeah, I think what happens to the coffee shop will be interesting. Obviously, Nicolette is there but she’s having a baby. Even without being off for a long maternity leave that would put her out for a bit.

Maybe Chloe will by it and have Nicolette run it? I hope it’s a new family. A lot of the houses are getting quite empty rather than their usual bursting at the seams capacity.

We normally only have one cop so I don’t think that would be an issue but with Bea going, there’s no one at the garage so maybe a mechanic/cafe family?

Dipi looks to be leaving the end of March which is when they thought Shane would go. She does suggest to Shane about moving to Sydney soon so it must be that.

Not sure if Yashvi leaves then or sticks around a little longer.

This is where Neighbours is weird, you're pretty much only allowed friends who live on your street. You might have the odd high school friend but it'll only ever be fickle

Yes Dipi apparently speaks to Shane next week about moving to Sydney to be near Jay and Kirsha. I don’t get the logic, Dipi has a business in Erinsborough and Jay and Kirsha have their grandparents and Mishti. Plus Pierce is in Sydney so I wouldn’t have thought Shane would want to live in the same city as him. I’d say Mackenzie will probably just stay on in number 30 and continue with uni and her friendship group. Unless she gets an improbable offer to move to LA like Imogen did

Yeah I saw that when Fay dies Chloe makes a pass at Nicolette who turns her down (as it’s due to grief). Roxy gets attacked at the uni. Am I right in thinking the Uni attacker is Brent’s friend who had the leaked audition months ago?
Also that the book lady (Olivia) comes back and is writing another Finn book whether they like it or not, so Susan decides she wants to be involved to make it more truthful, that’s when she pictures Finn etc, I think she listens to his recordings too. Olivia falls down the stairs and is in a coma, Karl get the blame, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I’d rather we had a whodunnit than a wrongly accused again. It’s been done to death the last few years.

Yeah it’s the guy from the audition, his name is Holden I think. Yeah in the episode I was watching today, Susan was having creepy visions of Finn at Lassiter’s and kept getting distracted when people tried to talk to her. Then Karl and Susan both told Olivia that Susan wasn’t going to be helping her anymore and Olivia stormed off, more or less saying she’d sue Susan for breach of a verbal agreement. Fay told Sheila she doesn’t have long left (because she got an infection from tasting the chocolate truffles that were Gary’s recipe) which was very sad.

Who made the truffles?
