I’ve lost track of how far behind the UK is (three weeks) but in Oz episodes Lacy Lane is the school dealer and Angela tries to get Toadie to represent her. Levi’s epilepsy is discovered and apparently he starts liking Bea for real.

Meant to put a question mark after three weeks I watch it on daily motion so not sure.

• Shane discharges himself from rehab early, leaving Toadie and Dipi disappointed.
• A hostage situation at the school leaves several lives in danger.

• Levi realises Dax will tell all his colleagues about his epilepsy so decides to come clean with them too.
• Dipi agrees to let Shane stay in Erinsborough but warns he better not let the family down.
• Ned receives another enticing Fandangle request that could solve all his financial issues.

• Chloe is blindsided when Pierce suggests moving away from Ramsay Street to a bigger place for their growing family.
• Kyle worries about Shane's reliance on Roxy, asking her to pull back from being his main support.

• Hendrix comes clean to Toadie about Rose.
• After clearing her head with a long walk, Chloe experiences a shooting pain in her stomach.
• Mackenzie is elected to the youth advisor role and decides to give her relationship with Richie another shot.

Friday, 11 September 2020 [8449] (UK: Friday, 2 October)

• Shane offers to help Dipi at Harold's but ends up fumbling around, resulting in Dipi pleading for him to go back to rehab.
• Toadie confronts Rose about Hendrix's accusations.
• Things at the hospital aren't looking good.

Yep that’s her-sister of Olivia Lane of Erinsborough High spin-off series fame I haven’t had a chance to watch yet this week but I believe Dax goes ballistic during the school siege and ends up being led away in handcuffs. I think someone shops him, he has dumped all their phones in the bin and put water over them but someone finds a way of contacting the police.

Doesn't Paul and Harlow stumble upon the hostage situation? Maybe it's one of them? I don't know I'm speculating.
Also Chloe ending up in hospital does this lead to the suspected abortion storyline?
Something bad has to happen for Pierce to leave by himself.

Not sure if Alana turns up, quite possibly. At the moment it’s looking like a Pierce/Dipi affair, which I really hope doesn’t happen! Chloe apparently wants to go ahead with her baby shower after whatever happens at the hospital, and Pierce and Nicolette try to talk her out of it. So maybe there’s something wrong with the baby. Yes Paul and Harlow do stumble upon the situation-perhaps one of them. Or Levi-I think maybe he calls for back-up before he has seizure and they take ages to come.

I think baby is fine and then she has a miscarriage, I guess arguments over trying again could draw a wedge between them

Aah I did wonder if they'd actually do a proper abortion storyline. They had a storyline that touched on it with Mishti (sp?) and Leo but I think if I remember correctly she miscarried.

If Levi gets with Bea properly then we've no chance of her going down the well!
Also I hope they don't turn Roxy and Shane into an affair, I know he's relying on her alot more now.

Yes, I heard miscarriage again which I’m quite disappointed with. It was the perfect opportunity to represent a storyline that affects so many women in the most empathetic way for pro lifers but have chickened out. I think they have put it off long enough.

Neighbours is the more liberal of the two main soaps so agree I thought they might have finally tackled it. Home and Away dodged the medical abortion years ago with a well timed miscarriage.

Sonia had the amnio to rule out issues, can't remember why eland then had a miscarriage.

There's def a vibe of "if you question going ahead u don't deserve a baby"

Not sure either as to why Sonya had a miscarriage but there are risks with the amnio test.. Was that ever highlighted - I can't remember.

I'm wondering if they decided against the storyline as it involves Chloe and a lot of fans love her and since she has a loving nature about her maybe they felt it wasn't a road she'd go down.
It is a shame as a lot of woman go through this whether it's due to illnesses or personal choice. I think it would have been good for the debate and support for those going through it.

Yes certainly will. I’ll report back when I’ve watched the ep. If she’s still wanting to go ahead with the baby shower after losing the baby I guess she must be in denial about losing it ☹️

Surely it’s way too early for a baby shower any way. I know it’s just a plot device but she’s only just in her second trimester...

Seen it. V v sad scenes, she does indeed lose the baby. She feels that she can’t tell Fay though, so that’s obviously why she wants to go ahead with the baby shower.
