Yes.
Not sure she picked the right guy there!

Cherrypie32 · 17/03/2020 22:48

Yes, it’s a good distraction. I get frustrated there’s no update though, like at the end of First Dates.

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 18/03/2020 08:09

Kellie picked the right one last night. He was the one I would have chosen right from the beginning.

I must say that one of the other four (not saying which - decide for yourselves!) had my gaydar pinging on full alert!

I think he was only there for the chance of kick-starting some sort of TV career.

Pippitypong · 18/03/2020 08:55

I thought Barry was really nasty and scheming, I'm glad she saw through it.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 18/03/2020 10:45

Barry was vile! What a nasty man

Fi1982 · 18/03/2020 13:01

First episode I thought Glen was a right wet weekend... he needs a therapist not a girlfriend! Women aren’t just there to validate your hurt feelings I’m afraid Glen 🙄

Christian I can imagine was quite a charismatic tour de force in person, so I can see why she chose him. Country boy had my cringe levels ringing off the scale.

Second episode I found more interesting as I liked the woman more, I felt she was genuinely looking for a good partner in life and talked about family life more. Bit rich that burger van man saying someone else’s voice was monotone! Lee seemed like he needed to pop back to his anger management class for a quick refresher 😬 topless cigging in the front garden of a morning too! Talk about lowering the tone.

Barry was the kind of guy who thinks he’s some kind of real-life Loki, but actually is a fairly ineffectual streak of chattering piss who’s afraid he’ll fade in to the background if he doesn’t keep up the act. The guy she picked, Craig, was ok, them sitting there saying ‘this’ll be interesting’ about five times in a row at the end makes me worry that it will be anything but...

BigSandyBalls2015 · 18/03/2020 13:13

Great summary Fi Grin

MrsJamin · 18/03/2020 16:10

I don't have much to add, I didn't think they were any good last night! What was the army guy thinking, drinking so much that he puked, as if that would win a woman over!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 18/03/2020 22:17

That was Barry’s fault really!

Arcadia · 25/03/2020 08:26

Did anyone watch 'the ginger edition'?! I just keep seeing it through eyes of situation now - nooo you can't stand that close! You can't hug! Do the parents have underlying health conditions? Is that their biggest problem?!

Winniewonka · 25/03/2020 15:33

I watched it last night. It's so addictive in a trashy kind of way! I thought her Mum was great, very excited at first but she gave some really good advice. Some of the guys are just in it to be on TV, I thought she was right to pick the final two but went for the wrong choice. Won't give any spoilers until others have had a chance to watch.
Have you noticed a rejection pattern over the weeks. It seems to lost souls out first. Major attention seeker/would be comedians out second/ third. Most suitable two in last place but doesn't choose the best match. IMO anyway.
Mature woman next week. Can't wait.

Inappropriatefemale · 27/03/2020 23:12

@WheresThatCatGoneNow is it Barry that your gaydar was on full alert for? Mines wasn’t until I read what you posted and then I thought that it must be Barry!

It’s so cringe and cheesy, especially all of Amy’s men, they were the cheesiest and Glenn was so desperate and boring, and the constant insecurity he was showing was annoying, confidence is so much more attractive although not in a cocky way of course.

ZoeandChandon · 31/03/2020 21:53

Anyone watching tonight? A lady called Susan, she looks so familiar, I think she’s an actress, does anyone else recognise her?

BigSandyBalls2015 · 31/03/2020 22:06

Cringey guys ... the yoga one Shock

BigSandyBalls2015 · 31/03/2020 22:07

She does look vaguely familiar.

ZoeandChandon · 31/03/2020 22:42

@ZoeandChandon

Susan was the one in Changing Rooms who hated the room Laurence Llewelyn Bowen did for her!

ZoeandChandon · 31/03/2020 22:50

I’ve cracked it!! She was on changing rooms, do you remember Laurence Llewelyn Bowen doing red walls and a black and white checked floor and the owner hated it? That’s Susan!
I can sleep tonight 😆

Winniewonka · 31/03/2020 23:07

I wonder if it was the same house! I missed the beginning, did Susan say how old she is? Thanks.

ZoeandChandon · 31/03/2020 23:23

Ha cross post @sundayfishfinger, I’ve spent ages trawling U tube for a clip but can’t find one.

ZoeandChandon · 31/03/2020 23:34

@Winniewonka it said she’s 68. I think it is the same house, or at least it was a period property on both occasions.

Standrewsschool · 01/04/2020 10:33

She had a lovely house and I thought she looked great throughout, and has Cez said, good legs!

I was surprised who she ended up with. I thought she would end up with Cez, as she seemed to like a laugh. Actually, she needed a combination of the last two men standing.

Gavin was obviously not over his split.

Standrewsschool · 01/04/2020 10:33

And how on eArth do you remember her from Changing rooms?!

Winniewonka · 01/04/2020 11:13

Thanks for letting me know, ZoeandChandon

ZoeandChandon · 01/04/2020 12:05

@Standrewsschool twitter reminded me 😁
