I'm desperate to see an end to the prison story but the storyline with Sid and his brother was even worse.

I'm not sure I even know what the Sid and brother story was?

My take - Sid meets up with his brother who has a snarky friend and they all go to an open mic session, which is pretty poor all round.

Have I missed anything vital?

Fuzzy I think it was that Sid's brother's adoptive mum has sussed Sid out (she has a photo of Sid/brother/ and Sid's dad) and knows that the two of them have tracked the brother down. She wanted assurance they wouldn't let him know he was adopted. I think.
