I am so annoyed with what they have done with Alex. I know Justin Chambers wanted to leave and gave them relatively short notice but the story they've written for him, on the face of it so far, just doesn't fit with his recent character growth. There's no way he'd just disappear on Jo. Unless it turns out Alex has been killed it's a shitty way to end the character

@MrsFionaCharming apparently (according to gossipy rags) it wasn't as long a period as it might have been and there are comments it was for his mental health. Either way, I don't blame him, I blame the writers.

I think he left pretty suddenly so they had a job on their hands. They could have done a Christina Yang and had him move to yet another hospital and still be with Jo, but just not appearing on the show, but I don't think that would have been overly feasible. So I guess they either kill him or he breaks Jo's heart out of nowhere. Maybe he's run off to be with Izzy!

All the baby nonsense this season has put me off a bit. Why can't apparently intelligent doctors who are sleeping with multiple people USE CONTRACEPTION PROPERLY.

I'm so sick of Owen too. I used to love him but the man is a nightmare.

Owen was hot when he first arrived and Cristina was still around. Now he's hopeless.

Christina’s been referenced so many times this season, it makes me wonder if they’re bringing her back.

Otherwise we’ll be down to 3 original cast members.

I’m not sure where they’re going with the Meredith / DeLuca / New Guy thing. Presumably they wouldn’t bother introducing a new character if nothing was going to happen.

I actually gave up near the end of the last season, I think they’ve overstayed their welcome. But....if Cristina Yang came back, so would I.

On thé plus side it's nice to see Bailey with some fire back in her belly at work and I'm so pleased Maggie and Jackson are no more. That was painful.

I'm enjoying McWidow so far. He's pretty easy on the eye. DeLuca was never right for Mer.

God yes. It was cringe and soul-destroying in the extreme. I used to like Jackson too but he's gone the way of Owen 'n all. God I miss the Mark Sloane and Addison years!

Oh I’m furious about what they’ve done to Alex! What an absolute waste of years of character growth. I know the writers were probably in a hard place after the actor left but fucking hell, there were better options then that!

I know. They could have at least done a George and killed him off doing something that felt right to the character.

He would never have done that! Not after all this time!
