I think it did happen and it's boy who cried wolf. But she's seeing the extra attention as a good thing which is why she's so cheerful.

I just don't know what to think about it. I can't really believe that a young person who has been raped would be so upbeat. But everyone's different and handles trauma in their own way.

TDog it reminded me a bit of that murder case in Italy (can't remember the name) where the American woman suspect was very upbeat all the time, and at one point seen doing cartwheels (iirc) near the court. Amanda Knox?

I agree that something happened to Abz- but her past/lies will make her unreliable.

Plus the drugs, and the fact Gobbyplod chose to not disclose she had them.

I've an idea that Gobby plod said he was going to do the right thing re the drugs. So I reckon he'd have told his boss. It's ridiculous that he's been allowed to work on this case.

Just caught up, there is no way he should be on this case, she's staying in his house FFS. Hopefully he did do the right thing with the tablets though.
