I went down the rabbit hole and found these excerpts from Jason Manford’s autobiography. Fits perfectly with the Irish musical family band mentioned on Saturday. He even said Nana!

That was my last hold out for manford so thank you. I thought it was him the first time he sang and I lost faith the last few weeks but I'm going to stick to it now I think that's it my guesses are locked down they might be wrong but I don't think they are going to change

I think Queen Bee, Octopus and hedgehog are best bets for being in the final with fox or monster going out this week. Of course bad song choice could change all that.

Was anyone watching Jeremy Vine this Morning? Did he just out himself as the Hedgehog during the TV section at the end of the show?

It will have been a joke set up I don't believe any of it was real all that faux are we on air they have a live audience he wouldn't just let it slip I'm not sure why but I don't buy it

If it was a joke it was very badly done, and I missed the punch line after the clip because JV mumbled it. All I heard was "We can't air that" and then they did the whole bit again from the beginning, including Storm's introduction. It was all a bit weird. I assume the show being live is on a slight delay anyway, so they probably could have cut JV's line without redoing it all. If they'd wanted to.

Up until this point I didn't think any of the clues suggested the hedgehog was Jeremy Vine. Though he does have the figure for it and he does ride a Penny Farthing which is a very steampunk kind a thing to do lol

It just makes no sense to me that he let it slip out at all even if he thought they weren't on air as there is a live studio audience also it was filmed in September so why would he be saying he can't wait to stop wearing the costume he hasn't worn it for ages? Maybe I'm wrong maybe it will be him but I don't buy it we will see when hedgehog is revealed though

He is doing a stupid accent but his voice isn't strong enough for Hedgehog. They are just trying to create some buzz about the show get people taking in my opinion.

I don't think the hedgehog is really Jeremy Vine. I don't think any of the clues given on the show point to it being him? More likely it's Jason Manford.

Just seen this in article about DVO returning to neighbours surely it's a double bluff...

Many fans of the ITV singing show have been convinced the silver fox is Denise, but she insisted it wasn’t.

She said: “I have been asked by so many people. I think I know who it is, I think it’s Rita Simons.
“When it was filmed I was in Australia filming Neighbours.”
But Denise, who has previously showed off her singing and performance skills on the West End stage in Chicago, wouldn’t rule out being part of the show in the future.
She said: “I’d love to do it, yeah. Definitely.”

Why are we all so desperate to disprove it's the more obvious people? The clues for those unveiled so far have actually really clearly pointed towards who they are!

The clues for Hedgehog do give us a definite shortlist of Manford, Boe or Ball (with possibly Rhydian and Aled Jones hovering but fitting fewer of the clues)

Unless you can convince me of the clues for Vine or Hills, of course!

No way is Hedgehig a trained singer. How can anyone even think it could be Boe? Or even Manford? Hills is an interesting thought, but I'm rubbish at remembering the clues.

People think it's Boe because he fits lots of the clues am guessing? It must be very hard to sing in that giant hedgehog! I am not a singing expert but have seen Boe on things like Jane McDonald singing more 'poppy' numbers and he really wasn't all that. Michael Ball is really not great when singing non musical theatre type numbers so it could be that they are a bit out of their comfort zone , too, if it is them.

I'm still open to suggestions, obviously, if they fit the clues!

Adam Hills is a stand up comedian who sings at the end of his show. He appeared on Australian WDYTYA. Hedgehog is tall and thin and stands with his arms folded in front of him. AH is tall and thin and last night he stood in exactly the same stance.

Jason Manford and MB do not have the same body shape and Boe is too obvious.

I do know he can sing but he doesn't fit any of the clues other than stand up. I think there would have been clues about Australia and about his leg.

I find it hard to gauge Hedgehog's height. That costume is very bulky. I do agree that Ball doesn't have those legs!

I don't think Boe is too obvious : once you knew the clues , all the other unmasked singers have been really obvious! The show so far has shown that the clues do fit the person.

The person I need to research more is Paddy McGuinness. This is definitely the sort of thing he would do but I haven't got round to googling him properly.

They sing poppy numbers all the time in their tours. I seen Ball and Boe live together and separately and pop really isn't out of their comfort zone.
They both have distinctive voices and although I can hear a few phrases that sound a little like AB but I dont think the voice is his. He has a very powerful voice.
I still think its Jason Manford. The famous daughter thing fits as well as he posted about wiping her bottom on Facebook or Twitter and there were a few complaints.
