I think Leanne really thought mike was going to save her 🤣 I’ve really gone off Jess now for failing to shut mike down/admit to biebs she is considering a switch. I hope there’s a nice girl in casa amour on Sunday for biebs because I think he’s one of the most genuine!

itswinetime · 31/01/2020 08:18

I don't think it was a big fuck you to Leanne at all...I'm not a mike fan but I can't see any logical reason he would have picked her to stay.

Fair enough Leanne went off him nothing wrong with that she told him before she moved on not a problem, but her rant by the fire pit she couldn't stand him, she wouldn't share a bed with him and earlier ok that very day when he went over to talk to her she barely acknowledged him beyond one word and then made bitchy comments about him being obsessed with her! While kicking off over the fact he was talking to other girls.

She got the ick fair enough but the rest of her behaviour was out of order had she tried to remain civil things could be very different I think mike might of picked her but she thought she was safe and it turns out she was wrong! You can't blame anyone but Leanne for her being dumped from the island.

WarmSausageTea · 31/01/2020 08:38

You can't blame anyone but Leanne for her being dumped from the island.

Absolutely this. I really liked Leanne, but I don’t for one minute think she was in the right headspace to be on the program. I hope she’s getting adequate support now she’s out.

Bluntness100 · 31/01/2020 09:14

Absolutely, why would he pick Leanne when she'd just dumped him and done so rather unpleasantly. Who amongst us Would pick someone who did that to us. I certainly wouldn't. I'd be like "bye then, off uou fuck".

LucheroTena · 31/01/2020 09:18

Biebs is a nice, genuine guy who is very handsome despite his frosted tips and nip ring. I like the friendship he has with Luke T. Jess is a fool, she is punching with him, why would anyone fancy creepy condescending Mike over the lovely Biebs??

Womenwotlunch · 31/01/2020 09:35

I don’t know why Leanne actually thought that Mike would pick her. Unbelievable
Leanne is deluded and spoiled
She’s beautiful,, but became less attractive as the show progressed because of her selfish behaviour.
Btw everyone seems to have forgotten about Rebecca. She is another one who is arrogant and vain

Timetastic · 31/01/2020 09:41

I feel this series is too rushed and there isn’t really any real connections. They all look really bored. There isn’t any funny bromances. Where the feck has Rebecca gone? When she came in she was gorgeous but seems to have a bitter face now.

Demi and Naz fakest thing I’ve seen on tv Theresa May dancing on stage. He didn’t want to kiss her and then her pretending she wasn’t expecting it when she was practically saying ‘kiss me Naz come on we gotta at least try!’ I’m surprised she didn’t bottle up fire flies and have have her own music love songs playing. How much ground work did she have to do!

Mike and Jess is weird- he’s so aggressive and I can’t see how she would like that it’s creepy as fuck.

Can’t COPE with the fucking terrible fake eye lashes they are all wearing. Jess and Shaughnas are the worst. They look drunk all the time because their eye lids are soooo heavy.

I do think shaughna could be a bully if she was given half a chance.

I’m glad Leanne has gone. Maybe she can relax her shoulders from round her ears now. The way both her and Sophia were in Naz was tacky and desperate.

Bit of a damp squib for me this year!

All of them are blatantly in it for the cash and media exposure.

RainInJuly · 31/01/2020 09:52

I think Shaughna was spot on in what she was saying though, to be fair. Full respect for saying to Sophie's face what she said to the others. Sophie repeated a few times about how she'd back Shaughna 100% even if she was in the wrong got me a bit. Being a good friend doesn't mean blindly backing someone, it means being open and honest and sometimes, if need be, calling them out on their shit

Bluntness100 · 31/01/2020 09:59

See I think the opposite, I think Shauna was totally wrong, other than it was wrong for them to to try to get nas to pick them over Demi. Sophie and Leanne should not have done that. It was shitty.

But this new rule Shauna has randomly invented where if you come in, spend less than two weeks with a guy you like, and he is chucked out, you should immediately fuck off out of it with him, is not ok in my eyes.

The over whelming majority of them don't leave with their partners, even when its being going on much much longer.

It's clear she has an issue with Sophie, even though she tried to keep her in, because she stated twice that she felt Callum put Sophie first above her. She then refused to tell Callum what she said to Sophie and got angry and stormed off. Because she didn't wish to tell him she'd basically told Sophie to leave and that she shouldn't be there.

I think she fundamentally likes Sophie, she is just hugely insecure, doesn't like what she perceives as Callum putting her first, so her solution is to try to talk Sophie into leaving, as that would solve her issue.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 31/01/2020 10:03

I'm not 100% convinced that Nas is straight.Hes a sweetheart but he might be in there literally just for the fame.It wouldn't surprise me if he came out as gay or bi after the show.

PumpkinP · 31/01/2020 10:15

I really like Jess now I think she seems really sweet, I can’t believe she’s gonna fall for mike he is so cringey it’s embarrassing. As soon as casa amor comes he will drop her like a brick. Weirdly I do think he actually likes her. I said that even when he was with Leanne but I think if something “better” (in his mind) came along he would be off like a shot.

I’m starting to like Luke t I actually think he is quite funny.

StickyProblem · 31/01/2020 10:23

I don't like Nas at all. He seems to lack empathy and doesn't understand personal space. When Sophie was upset in the changing room and had her hands over her head to do her hair up, he came up and put his arms round her waist to hug her and she couldn't get her arms down. Who traps someone with their arms up like that? Then when they were sitting on opposite chairs he was stroking her thigh right up to the top. Very weird.

In the positions game, he threw Demi on the ground for the "turtle" and said something in the diary room about throwing her down so hard that "some of her makeup is still on the ground" but when they were done he didn't help her get up or even look at her, he was just cheering that they were first. When they won he ran around on his own before hugging her. Surely if you'd won a competition with someone you fancy the first thing you'd do would be focused on them.

Agree with PP that Demi is doing a great acting job! I've also enjoyed Rebecca when all the drama with Sophie and Leanne was going on, she clearly doesn't give a rats but puts on a fake concerned face, really funny!

Luke Bieber is really growing on me, what a nice young man Grin Jess is quite a people pleaser, she's always listening to other people's problems, I worry that extends to putting up with Mike. I think she's very passive, she'll let the boys decide who wants her the most and just go along with that. The opposite of Shaughna who decided who she was having and locked him down, Callum will never escape!

zampa

Ah you’ve got me wrong.

I don’t dislike mike because he was last in the sexchallenge. I dislike him because he came across as a right sleaze when he was snaking round Jess.

The comment about the sex position challenge was because he is trying to come across as the big man who is some sort of irresistible sex god and he was just waiting for everyone else to get bendy before he copied them. That’s all..

I’ve no idea about the positions either but I don’t go about strutting my stuff like a fleshy slinky.

Leanne’s behaviour was awful - absolutely. And yes he had no reason to keep her. But I think he enjoyed doing it. It wasn’t a dilemma.

If Leanne had said that she wasn’t sure etc instead of the creeped out by him stance she took, I’d have thought more of her. But no she was downright horrible. She needs to think on. Beauty doesn’t last forever. Niceness can.

But by Christ she got the ick part right after watching Mike with Jess.

Jess’s eyelashes make her look like Janice from the muppets.

I’m perhaps an auld romantic who wants the people to find love. Not be all out to be famooose.

theLadyofShallnot · 31/01/2020 10:45

Same lashes

Love Island 4 - Sean’s niece has found true love.
Womenwotlunch · 31/01/2020 10:52

@StickyProblem- I don’t like Nas either.
There was an incident where he was rubbing Sophie’s thigh and continued to do so. I felt a bit uncomfortable watching it.
He is more creepy than Mike imho.

Konicek007 · 31/01/2020 10:55

I really like Both Lukes.
In first when they got in I was pretty sure Luke T has a nasty streak, but he just comes out as really nice boy who makes you laugh.
Luke M is hot and very nice. I don’t get how Jess can’t see it.
Maybe I actually willl check the real Bieber now...

SpanishFly · 31/01/2020 11:03

But this new rule Shauna has randomly invented where if you come in, spend less than two weeks with a guy you like, and he is chucked out, you should immediately fuck off out of it with him, is not ok in my eyes.

I don't agree that she meant this - she was saying that she had achieved the "point" of the programme and it wouldn't be fair for Demi to not be given the same chance. She said if Callum left, she would accept that it could also be her time to go.

Subsequently it also became obvious that she feels threatened by her, and I think she was therefore questioning how much sophie is into connor, to see if she had any reason to feel threatened.

Rollergirl11 · 31/01/2020 11:16

Can’t COPE with the fucking terrible fake eye lashes they are all wearing. Jess and Shaughnas are the worst. They look drunk all the time because their eye lids are soooo heavy.

OMG this!!! I think they look like they have a nasty case if conjunctivitis too. NOT a good look!

Oysterbabe · 31/01/2020 11:34

Absolutely agree with the eye lashes. They would look SO much better without them.

Winstonwolfe · 31/01/2020 11:57

So looks like casa Amor is happening on Sunday Grin

Bluntness100 · 31/01/2020 12:16

she was saying that she had achieved the "point"

But it's never been the case that the point of the show is the first guy you couple up with if you like each other you have to fuck off out of it. That is indeed a random rule Shauna has invented, Connor and Sophie were not together long enough to even know if they wanted to be girlfriend and boyfriend. They were only together a few days literally, had Connor g in between and had an argumentative time even when they were together due to connor being an insecure twat.

People pretending that Sophie had decided to never se anyone else, or was madly in love, or had achieved the point of the show and there could never be anyone else, is just bat shit. 🤣

PumpkinP · 31/01/2020 12:24

It’s funny everyone hates the fake eyelashes. My sister insisted doing mine saying “everyone does them now” “I would feel naked without my eye lashes” she convinced me to let her do mine and honestly I looked ridiculous, she also claimed you have to them on all the time and sleep in them and can’t wash your face?! I went to sleep and by the time I woke up they were all gone so don’t know how anyone else keeps them on. Needless the say they weren’t for me!

TruffleShuffles · 31/01/2020 12:26

I don’t think that is Shaughna’s point though @Bluntness100. She’s saying that Sophie is less deserving a pick than Demi who hasn’t had a chance at a match yet and Leanne who also hasn’t found someone she likes. Sophie has found someone she likes supposedly, although I’m not buying it, and Shaughna is just making the point that if you had to choose between those three then by the aim of the game Sophie is the person least deserving a pick.

Now if Sophie had just been honest and said she has no interest in Connor and wants to meet someone new then maybe Shaughna wouldn’t have said anything. The reason she keeps clinging onto Conner is she thinks she’ll look bad by now saying she doesn’t want him but it’s caused the opposite as she’s being contradictory by saying she’s still interested in Connor but begging Nas to keep her in and that’s what Shaughna’s issue is.

Nirvana1979 · 31/01/2020 12:27

Mike is so cringy. Jess would be mad to go there.

Luke Bieber (Luber?) Is so bloody good looking. Last night with the jeans and grey jumper on, wow. He comes across as a really nice guy but i don't think he'll take any shit from Mike. How patronising Mike was to him last, calling him son!! Dick. I hope a really nice girlcomes in for him.

Bluntness100 · 31/01/2020 12:35

As said, totally agree that Sophie and Leanne did a shitty thing in trying to stay over Demi. Shauna is right there.

She has however made it very very clear repeatedly to Sophie, and any one else that will listen, that Sophie should leave and follow connor. Because apparently she'd do the same for Callum. This is where I part ways with Shauna.

Not doing so doesn't mean she's not interested in Connor, but she hardly knew rhe Guy, hadn't become exclusive, hadn't even decided to be girlfriend boyfriend. And had literally only known each other a few days.

The fact Shauna would follow Callum. Is irrelevant. I doubt Callum would follow her. And she shouldn't be telling everyone that because she would follow Callum then Sophie should jog off out the villa and follow connor.

Shauna can fool herself all she wants about Callum, but she can't be dictating what Sophie should do.

And quite frankly what's it got to do with her? What difference does it make to her if Sophie stays in? Other than she will continue to face a situation where she thinks Callum puts Sophie first over her...
