I did wonder if they'd kill off Shazza last night but she's been in it forever I still think the baby probably won't survive sadly. Ian's glasses fell off in the bump when he dropped the keys didn't they? Hence his fumbled look for them/the keys in the water (I immediately leapt to scooby-doos Velma and "I can't see without my glasses").

It all seems very daft, I mean the Thames isn't the ocean it's not that wide (although I realise currents and filth are a big problem) and there are always loads of boats about so it seems unlikely anyone would need to jump in the water, and I've seen the rnli show and they are super quick to respond on the Thames. My money is on Bex and Kush having gone in the water as they were outside on deck and kush/kat are far too loved up for anything good to come of it.

80s I think I just have to come to terms with the fact that Sonia is indestructible
The possible dead list is pretty long at the moment;
Non boat people:
Sharon not straightforward birth (hardly a surprise at 51)
Bobby (beaten up)
Sonia (death by being a know it all)
Callum (killed by Ken)

Then on the boat
Denny
Mick & Linda (who could just move her foot to the side a bit to get out)
Bex overdose
Ian (was he in the water?)
Phil/Ben/Ken (are they there?)
Missing people - where are Karen & Martin? Billy was looking for Karen before the coach left, what’s happened to her?
Can’t see them killing off a big character like Ian or Shazza, my money is on Bex, Ken or Denny.

Sonia has been in it a long time : no new heads or anything like that. She seems to always be around!
I remember her giving birth to Bex and she didn't know she was even pregnant! Mo helped her out! It was very dramatic.

Where is Karen? I think she is trying to talk Ken out of hurting Callum.

I think Phil might end up rescuing Dennis, unfortunately.

The empty kitchen and locker room ; surely they would be locked up as they set off?

I think we will see someone from the boat ‘dead’ at the very end of Friday’s but then there be a twist and that person be alive and someone else actually die instead.

Surely they won't kill off a young character. That's just too grim.

I forgot they made a point of Billy saying he couldn’t find Karen. Ben knows he is very close to her. Would they have gone looking for him in her flat and then she now knows he is in big trouble and is involved too. Or is that just a red herring?

The only reason Phil can be on the boat is if Keanu is on it and let’s face it that would be ridiculous as he’d have no reason to go on a booze cruise. unless looking for Denny as Shaz won’t go without him?

They obviously know Sharon is back in touch with Keanu. Phil could have gone looking for Denny knowing if he threatens him, Sharon will call Keanu to save Denny and then he can bring them to Callum? Would he threaten Denny with a gun though? The boy he adopted? Who did he fire at when Jack thought it was fireworks?

Re Ian and Denny.....
I know Denny is a little shit ..but I do feel sorry for him .
He is a traumatised young boy who is just watching his mother's eye lashes getting longer and bigger to match her tummy !

He did sound very vulnerable and scared while locked in the room/cupboard.
Re the door...
Even if Ian had not dropped the keys (sooo predictable ) ..
Would the door have even opened with the water pressure/ weight ?
I remember watching something about a car submerging and the pressure had to be equal berfore being able to open a door or window .
(Think something like letting the car fill with water...
But I could be talkimg a load of rubbish ...it has been known 🤣🤣

I wondered that about the door but the pressure was the same on both sides in this case.

You'd still kick it in easily with a good boot! The doors will be thin because of weight and Ian/Denny could easily smash it - you hear of people lifting cars etc in moments of desperation don't you?

I’m thinking they may do a super dramatic scene switching between Denny dying and Sharon giving birth. And we see Denny drowning and it keeps going back to Sharon and the audience is lead to believe the baby is born sleeping just as Denny is dying then we hear a cry from the baby but while Denny drowning is on screen... just a thought 😂

It would be pointless in a way if Denny died as Sharon’s character does not want/need a baby and Denny is transitioning his bratty kid character to a more sinister teenage one which EE can do more with. He is a poor actor though. The best thing would be to send him off to jail and come out with a new head.

Maybe it will be touch and go between her two children and Denny will be the survivor?

I’m baffled why Sharon went through with the pregnancy at all.

Probably much easier to think of the annoying ones we'd be happy to see go!

Re Sharon and pregnancy: I think eastenders still very much frowns on terminations. Plus it's great for drama. Also, Sharon thought it was most likely to be Phil's as she did it only once at the right time with Ken (I think). Don't forget Phil gave her seconds quick smart when he came home and poor old Ken was under the bed that time!

I'd rather that Mick and Ian didn't die! Odd choice I know, but they still have mileage left I think. I'd be happy if new son or Patrick's wife, Bex or Dotty were to go to be honest but I bet they won't! No idea who is in the frame really. Could be anyone.

I think Baby Sheanu was conceived during the one off in the garage after they'd "split up" (and Louise had found out Ken had been paid to go out with her?) rather than when Ken was under the bed.

I really don't want them to kill off any of the youngsters as I have kids that age and it's just too awful to think about.
