I don't know if it's something about the name, but my brain flatly refuses to hang on to any information about Mannix, his face, who he's had dealings with or any part he has played in past storylines. It gives me an insight into what it might be like to be pre-flashbacks Finn. I'm gutted that Jane's catfish turned out to be him, because all I can think is who he?

Yeah mannix - I think he was talked about, more than actually seen on camera. I think he had something to do with Leo, who I never warmed to, so I probably switched off a bit then too.

Thanks for that. I'll be honest: I scrolled through it very very quickly, but it'll be a useful reference point.

Quick summary

Mannix was a colleague of Leo's from his time prior to Erinsborough on the Sydney club scene.

Leo found out his employers (the Renshaws) were laundering money through the clubs and reported them.

The Renshaws later blamed Mannix and he turned up in Ramsey street with a stab wound. He asked Leo to get David to treat him and provide drugs which he had to steal from the hospital.

He then blackmailed Theo and David and threatened to get David struck off and so Paul stepped in and sent some heavies round to see him off (which we never saw)

That was it.

Why on earth he would catfish Jane in revenge we'll never know.

Apart from the fact that both actors were willing to come back for the 35th anniversary and nobody could think of a suitable plot ?

Lucy and Mark are a cringey couple. Can't stand Lucy, all that bullying of Chloe, hope she's not here to stay.

Lucy isn't bullying chloe. Chloe should never have been put in as GM, woefully under qualified, and getting upset because she found out she was only there because of Peirce was a joke, why the fk else would she have got that job????

I agree Chloe probably wasn't right for the job, but Lucy was nasty. I got sick of seeing her and Paul's doom-ridden, grim faces every time they spoke to her.
