TENNIS THREAD- Australian Open continues- we're ready for the popcorn matches!

I am not going to get chance to watch much more of this so this was a bit of a quick one...

On Eurosport even.

There was a time when I quite liked his commentary - he used to commentate on the radio. But that was before I realised just how very biased he is. And he doesn't listen to anyone around him.

In previous years, Mats and Mac have definitely commentated on far more matches that I have watched (and I can't watch the over night ones- so I mean the 'evening session' ones).This year , it has been wall to wall Frew.

I don't know what's going on with Eurosport this year - do they even have presenters in the studio/analysis?

And yes they hardly seem to have any pundits commentating - just Frew and Jo Durie (though I do love Jo).

Maybe they've spent all their budget on skiing?!

It's the Wimbledon of the sport!

I was thinking that, about the studio analysis. Other years have definitely had Annabel and Greg involved- in a studio, not just outside. It all seems to have been scaled back.

The cynic in me would say this is because Murray isn't there.

I thought Petch used to be there too. Not that I miss him! Why can't they get Pat Cash in?

I wonder if Pat Rafter ever does commentary?

Ooh, I'd love Pat Rafter to do commentary. Pat Cash does stuff at Wimbledon, not sure why he doesn't here.

Maybe he's on Australian tv. What about the Woodies? Anyone but Frew!

I think I saw Annabel outside at some point but can’t remember when - it might have even been on the BBC - she was wearing a nice sundress anyway.

I don't really get Twitter. It's seems to be like talking to yourself and maybe somebody might reply! I'll just carry on talking to the dog instead.

I'm very envious of Annabel. She looks so good.
