Teddy Sheringham problem was he went specific in saying footballer but them the other clues were very cryptic. DH got the Nottingham Forest bit but because he played for them years ago and right at the start of his career he was never thought off

DD1 is firmly in Team Unicorn, just because it's a unicorn and the child is obsessed.

I'm with you @CooCooCoo but it would show they were pretty desperate for contestants, I can't see this show getting another series in the UK when you see that the US version had people like Patti Labelle, Chris Daughtry, Seal, Michelle Williams, Kelly Osborne, Donny Osmond, Gladys Knight Joey Fatone, Rumer Willis, Latoya Jackson and Ricky Lake...ours isn't really offering anyone of similar calibre....

I think I'll be recording and ffwding the next few weeks just because I want to see out who is who.

@Kuponut 2 of mine are glued to the screen! They aren't bothered about who is in the mask (9yo a 6 yo) but both were chanting for octopus to be saved at the end!

It is strangely addictive and workes as a family program, I'm a middle aged mum who doesn't bother with xfactor/love island etc but I'm loving this!

I only caught the song off and turned to dh and asked if Octopus was a minogue!

I think this concept would work so much better if the celebs are people who you’d instantly recognise once they take the masks off. Which hasn’t been the case so far, and there’s even a delay in the audience’s reaction until they’re actually told who it is. If it is successful and gets a second series, maybe they’ll get some better known people, but as it is, it’s all a bit underwhelming.

She had a fashion range in Australia and has been the face of fashion week there.

She has had various famous big deals with X factor ect

She was the face of a makeup brand and maybe the biggest clue is she is a judge on the Australian version of the show.

The other popular guess on Twitter is Katherine Jenkins. Apparently she rented her house the the apprentice, one of her childhood crushes was Jason Donovan no links to make up or fashion that I know of.

I'm still inclined to think it's someone we haven't guessed yet/won't know even without the mask on.

I think the idea of the show is really novel and different.
But for a prime time Saturday night family show it doesn’t totally work because of who they have in the costumes. I can see how children would be very disappointed. They can’t even have a guess.

Dd1 and 2 just find it hilarious to suggest impossible people..."it's Donald Trump...heh heh...nah, it's Brian who works in the canteen at school....heh heh" like Beavis and Bloody Butthead. Ds just tells everyone to be quiet because he wants to watch the monster/fox/octopus sing and hasn't quite got the concept that you're supposed to know who is in the costume. He hid behind a cushion when the tree was on.

They have big names on the American version, not so much on the U.K. version. I do think however, that if this does take off and I actually think it will, then bigger names will appear

She is the right level of celebrity for this show, though: C list. Slightly above ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’ level. Around the Strictly level of fame, I’d say.
