God, I don’t think any young guy on the planet could turn my head if I had Mr Bang Me Now in my clutches...

peaceanddove · 14/01/2020 20:38

Agree, his current wife seems nice enough but his next wife is a bit of a stunner

Patsypie · 14/01/2020 20:48

I've spent an insane amount of time 'thinking' about this sexy bugger!

DS1 was just saying he might catch up with it at the weekend as he only watched one episode. He will need company.

As a man who came here to talk about the tv show, I've decided to back out immediately...

HeIenaDove · 15/01/2020 15:48

@ShatnersWig Was good wasnt it? Id much rather talk about the plot. As i said upthread i would like a Sister Agatha series.

Hahah. As a show I really enjoyed it. I thought both Sister Agatha and Dracula were really well drawn characters, the rest less so and it might have benefitted from shorter episodes over a longer period so that we could really understand the relationship between Lucy and Dracula for example. There wasn’t really enough time to develop it.

MercedesDeMonteChristo · 15/01/2020 16:29

Still would.

Drabarni · 15/01/2020 16:29

The first one scared me to death, we saw the second one last night, and the last one tonight.
Dh is more into it than me, but we have just started watching things together we wouldn't watch on our own. So it's working well, he got to watch A Christmas Carol, which wasn't his thing.

@ShatnersWig Grin don’t worry, just talk around all the references to Claes Bang’s body hair/sexual behaviour etc. This is a safe space for discussion Grin

AgentCooper · 15/01/2020 16:37

Still definitely would here too. Repeatedly.

Mercedes I agree totally. I felt like the Lucy thing was so rushed - we don’t see how he seduces her (I mean he’s beautiful but also a goddamn vampire ffs), why he thinks she’s his ideal bride, no character development to give their relationship a foundation. I kind of feel it would have been better to dispense with that strand altogether- just focus on the cat and mouse game between him and Agatha/Zoe, as they’re simultaneously repelled by and drawn to each other. The tension between them was on fire, while the Lucy stuff was a bit blah. Even his interaction with the woman whose house he broke into was interesting but it felt like there was an important scene missing in setting up the relationship with Lucy. In the spirit of this thread, an important scene featuring copious naked Bang.

@CelebrityDave don’t make promises you can’t keep Grin keep em coming!

MercedesDeMonteChristo · 15/01/2020 18:29

Exactly, the Lucy thing imo was important and really deserved to be explored more.

Dave - that is a double whammy of a gift.
