Just started watching and enjoying it. Anybody else?

I've just binge watched over the last couple of days - and I found it gripping, really couldn't stop watching it.

As I just said on another thread about this - the "critics" have panned it, but interestingly, the audience are giving it very high ratings. Funny how that can happen.

And yes, he is very beautiful man - very well cast.

I've watched the whole series now - loved it and was surprised by the ending. Hope there is another series.

Finished it today and I loved it.

Halfway through and liking it well enough but oof! I would be following the shit out of that young man (rubs thighs).

Finished it last night- I would also follow him across the world he is absolutely gorgeous!! Was watching it with DH who kept saying he's weird and I was like nope, stunning 😍😍😍

I may or may not be watching it all over again just so I can fast forward to the scenes he's in.

I think the last time I was so mesmerised by a show was The Leftovers series 2. Amazing. I’m going to watch this all over again I think.

Yes I'm not sure why he got into the car.

I really enjoyed the first episode - quite thought provoking- but I did roll my eyes a bit when he zipped to small town Texas to save a young girl and a church. Thought it was turning into Highway To Heaven.
Does it get better after that?

It's explained how he gets to Texas. Keep watching!

Watching this reminded me of The Second Coming written by Russell T Davis in about 2002 and starring Christopher Eccleston; he plays a daft young lad from a video shop who realises that he is the messiah. It's incredibly moving, on YouTube if anyone 's interested.

Originally I thought he got in the car to abandon the awful televangelist father - to show him that he wouldn't be part of that money-making evangelist stuff - but then it all turns a 'god's plan' after that, definitely,

I think that he knew what would happen if he got into the car and that the angry Israeli guy is part of his plan.

With the hot messiah, the angry Israeli and fit FBI, I knew it would be the angry one she fell into bed with.
I was also gripped by the story with Jibril and Samir.

They could well have done - they were flying over Spain, but that wasnt Spain. Is there some significance to Algeria?

Notice they had the little pre-emp scene with Malik being a liar and making up stories? Every miracle he does has that little bit of doubt of sewn. It could be a miracle, or it could be street illusion, or it could just be a natural phenomenon (sand-storm, Florida floods).. except the tornado - how could he have known about that?

I was sooo worried about Jibril. Pretty impressed they made me care about him so much when he doesn’t speak a word of English the whole show.

Jibril did look like he'd just left a boy band too!

I loved it. I binged watched it in 3 days.

Best thing I've seen for ages and he's so enigmatic

I've really enjoyed it. I can't decide about him, is he Gods son or a trickster?
