I don't think the potters understand why Keith cries sometimes. They always seem surprised by it.

Liked Matt's fireplace this week. Been in plenty of pubs around Manchester with ones just like that.

Really liked it - a well-deserved "potter of the week".

Roasalind has an instagram page with her family on there and her pottery. Her pottery is beautiful. I am only 2 years younger than her but she seems a lot older despite the little girl voice etc

I love Keith, blubbing and all. I've never once seen the female judge looking "disgusted" with him or rolling her eyes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn't like Matt's fireplace at all but it was the best of a bad lot. Rosalind's looked like it had been painted in sludge, the dragon one looked broken and Ronaldo and the Scandinavian one both looked messy. I think I liked the diamond one the best but it wasn't really 3D.

I know nothing about pottery but I love programmes like this!

I thought Matt's fireplace was wonderful but I would hate it in my house, could only bear to see it in a pub! As much as I loved Rosalind's frogs and bullrushes, it was a horrible colour and it was a bit childish... to me.

I thought the diamond one was superb but didn't fit the brief, I think that girl is ace at pottery though.

I do think Matt comes across as a tad supercilious, but of course that could be down to editing so I'm probably massively wrong.

I know what you mean - I would have hated to fall on the little sculptured bits on the hearth part from drinking too much gin.

@bruffin. Rosalind is my absolute favourite - I like her more and more as the series goes on. I don't think she should have had to share 'Potter of the Week'...

I can’t stand the weeping. And yes, @Starksforthewin, it seems fake. It’s a real shame, as he is clearly immensely talented.

I'm just so glad that Matt bounced back so well from his low point last week. I find Rosalind intensely annoying so experienced schadenfreude when she did so much worse this week.

How did I not know you have a thread about this fabulous programme (Stupid of me not to look, really!).

I like Matt the best. No particular reason, I just do. (And Rosalind's voice makes me think of fingernails on a blackboard)

I like Jacob, but I do think he has a bit of a possibly unfair advantage being an actual potter.
Rosa is funny and I generally like her work, although the fireplace was a bum note IMO.
I didn't like Matt's fireplace. Thought it looked like a novelty item; too much going on. I liked Jacob's and, largely, Rosalind's, although I wish she'd done the colouring better (I suddenly can't think of the proper word for that).
I generally like Claire, but her fireplace wasn't great. I hope she get a challenge that suits her next time.

I'm conflicted about Rosalind - I can see that she's a good potter but I find an awful lot of her stuff rather twee. On the whole I'm hoping for Claire to win.

I think it is going to be close next week for the semi-final. They seem very closely matched.

It was so tense last night! I had no idea who was going home but I think they made the right decision.

I've warmed to Matt over the past couple of weeks. They all seem to be really friendly, like Bake Off and Sewing Bee it's so lovely to see cooperation and encouragement rather than aggressiveness. I love it.

I agree. The tops of Rosalind's jars were really quite ugly.

I think the right person went this week.

But I thought Claire's jar lids/tops were too small for their bodies... looked unbalanced and a bit...... mimsy.

I watched last night and agree that Rosalind was the right choice. I thought it was close though.

Rattle I agree. It almost looked comical to me. Tiny little lids.

I don't like this challenge, I didn't in the last series. It's almost like the producers are scratching around for something different, e.g.. build a firepit.

I think it's a pity they're doing the build a toilet thing for the final. I remember them doing it before and thinking it didn't really work as it's such an unrealistic task for the average home potter.

They've done the pit a few times before haven't they? I thought it was one of the standard challenges. They've only done the toilet once I think - I remember one of them firing water out instead of into the bowl 😂

I liked Claire 's pots. I thought the lids fitted the taper of the jar.
