Sewing Bee is not happening this year then, we would've heard. And mayube now Joe Lycett has changed his name by deed poll to Hugo Boss, he wouldn't be hosting it anyway!

I think Matt's handle placement was a nod to the turtle head that won last year. I don't think he's very original - he tends to stick to 'safe' or classic replica type themes.

It's a real shame that Claire went but as hers was the only toilet that leaked it's fair enough.

I really want Jacob to win now or at a pinch, Rosa. Not matt though - I think he's clearly talented but uninspiring

Glad the bee is back too! I love it!

I think Matt is technically very good, Rosa is artistically very good and Jacob is somewhere in the middle.

This is why I didn't post the result - this didn't seem to be a "watch live" thread where we commented as it went along.

Great final I thought. Each time they showed the drawings of what a contestant was going to make I thought "that's the winner!". They were all so different.

But if anyone DMs me I won’t be upset. I don’t like surprises!

I remember years ago with one of these programmes starting a thread a day after an episode of it, might have been a semi final . The thread title was innocuous but I suppose if you read between the lines, you might guess how the episode went.

Well....
I was flamed good and proper for letting out a bit of the detail. You would honestly think I had committed the most heinous crime ever! It didn't matter how many times I apologised and said I'd asked MN to amend the thread title, it wasn't enough!

Yes, I've seen things like that. It is madness! However, I don't want to be that person 😂😂
