So Nate is here to stay (unfortunately)

Will Rhona and Graham make it to France.

Does Santa know how naughty Archie has been and will his mother ever cop on at how hurt he is.

How many Christmas dinners will be ruined with fighting this year.

What's the score? I haven't heard any roars from downstairs.

2-0 to the pool

Luke and Wendy sat on the other side of the pub. Luke told Wendy not to push it with Vic. As they left Wendy said congratulations.
Wendy left a card and Teddy for Harry, the card said she would like to see the baby when Vic was ready. Vic was okay about that.

Thanks red

I saw the interaction between Luke and Victoria outside the shop. It was so bloody weird. They were making polite conversation about the baby as if there wasn’t this HUGE history and contention between them. Really odd.

But Luke and Vic were getting close until she realised who his brother was.
Luke is clearly a decent guy, and he admitted that he believed Vic. He has repeatedly told his mum to back off.

And more importantly well done Liverpool Xmas Grin

I know it was just really awkward- let’s make small talk about the baby I won’t let you see Grin

Yes it was a bit weird, but I can actually see them getting together

Yes it looks like it’s heading that way.

Thanks Redshoe. Luke might be ok, I don't know if I trust him but I don't want Vic in a relationship with her rapist's brother. It's just plain wrong!

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 02/01/2020 23:26

The problem with Luke is his bonkers mother!

He seems perfectly lovely and sane but there is no escaping the fact that he comes with serious baggage. If Victoria has any sense of self preservation she will run like the wind!

That Wendy is mind blowing. Her son is actual scum and that's all she can keep saying is Lee would have liked that, Lee this and Lee that 😠

Victoria do not accept teddies or anything else from Wendy. It's the thin end of the wedge.

Report
PrincessScarlett · 03/01/2020 10:58

The only way Wendy is going to have a relationship with her grandson is if she finally realises Lee is a rapist. I wonder whether Emmerdale will do the decent thing and have some sort of conclusion/justice for Victoria. So far the whole story (after the initial wonderful acting from Victoria) has been bloody farcical. It would be nice if something comes to light to prove Victoria has been telling the truth all along.

I don't think that she wants to entertain that possibility. And if she did do an about turn, she would probably try to mitigate it or gloss over it.
Her behaviour of the past few months shows she has no understanding of boundaries or other peoples feelings.
It's all about her and her needs and wants. She doesn't seem that bothered about her own sons feelings (the non rapist one).

Report
WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 03/01/2020 13:20

I really want someone to point out to her how much her behaviour mirrors that of a rapist and how it was probably her that taught Lee to ignore people so boundaries to the extent that he became a rapist.

Moira is making a mistake wanting Cara to show up. Cain is bound to get it on with her!

Report
WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 03/01/2020 19:25

Yep!

I feel so sorry for Moira. She’s right- she doesn’t deserve what is happening to her. I know she isn’t helping herself by drinking but Cain needs to treat her better.

Yay another Liam/Cain scene Grin love them together! Liam was hilarious in the car.

Poor Aaron having to put on a front Sad and poor Matty too.

I’m really starting to like Liam! I think he’s better without Bernice (and I liked her too!)

The Cain scene was funny.

“Do you want to talk about it?”

Who are you and what have you done with Cain dingle? Grin

Chas’ baby looked massive compared to Victoria’s!

It won't take to much detective work on Harriets behalf to work out who robbed the church.

I feel sorry for Moira too, yes she was wrong but they have all taken Nates side which is very unfair, as for Belle "he's family" for god sake they only know him five minutes, I don't like Belle anyway.

Leyla and Liam won't work I don't think.

I don't get the Layla/Liam thing at all. It came out of nowhere. I thought that Layla had been looking doe eyed at David lately!

I don't like Belle either, her character has no depth really.

I quite like the Liam/Layla stuff, but he needs to wear a different coat every now and again.
