Wow that was a scarily realistic birth scene. That angle and the “sliding” of the baby looked so real!

Very glad they didn’t have Wendy delivering him. Victoria finally gets some part of her pregnancy/baby to herself.

It’s on for an hour tonight- 7:00-8:00.

Eric is lovely with Baby Theo , very doting grandad. He missed a load of David's early days so this must be his chance to re-write history . (There was a comment he made about " You used to do.." to David but I don't think he was there for that )

Eric is very sweet. He must have been there when David was a newborn for him to be able to say what he did. They never really went into the story of why he left David as a child did they?

Because now she has found out thanks to Big gob Bob and Luke, there's no chance she won't be hotfooting it over to the hospital.

I thought Diane was awful. I'd have booted her out when she said that the delivery was nicer than the conception.
Then giving Vic a hot drink when she was holding the baby.

I'm also not convinced that the baby is David's.

I actually thought when David appeared in emmerdale the dna test results were never shown and there was some suggestion that either David or Eric (I can't remember who had them) just decided to say they were related. But they never seemed to return to that story and now Wikipedia just says they are father and son matter of fact.

I'd like to find old episodes to check though.

The comment Diane made about the birth being more enjoyable than the conception is referring to her own birth back in the day not Victoria. Though she did get on my nerves 😂

Eric said that David was little like Theo and that he missed so much so think he meant that he missed out on seeing David as a baby, not that he remembers him being that small

I missed that bit as well because Liverpool are playing and I had to switch to kitchen telly!
