I think M&M thought Andrew's food was a bit dull and uninspired. If I ran a restaurant I'd want and unflappable, safe pair of hands like Andrew. He did really well at Hide, better than Exose. I think Exose has got through on his potential not sure it was an entirely "fair" decision. I have no desire to eat Stu's food, couldn't eat pink pork.
As someone upthread said, why in Hide could they not have frozen a load of the coconut ice cream flowers? I said just that to my DH. I preferred the Hide food to the Welsh place on Wednesday night. Hide also do a vegetarian/vegan option at reasonable (ish) prices.
The waiting staff must loathe that staircase, I feared for Exose negoitating that in his crocs.
