I sometimes look at the spoiler but if I choose not to then I watch to be surprised/annoyed or whatever at the result. Lots of viewers don't want to know the result beforehand so of course their viewing will be spoiled.

I will be watching the Grand Prix later. I don't want to know the result before I watch and if I somehow found out the result I would probably not bother watching it
