We are now late out of the house because of Boogie sodding Beebies.

Thomas v popular with my girls, sadly. Tell you what, it's not NEARLY as bad as the Cre Bers, though.

Lou, your ds2 is wise beyond his years. I know one is supposed to have respect for a man of the cloth but Rev. W. Awdry....AAARRRRGGGHHHH (hope he's turning in his grave. He is dead, surely?)

marthamoo · 13/10/2004 09:06

Where are the Crap, oops sorry, Care Bears on, mi? Haven't seen them for years - remember them as being utterly nauseating and moralistic pap.

He is; his son - now getting on considerably too - took over from him.

Apparently one of the Travesties of the film/telly version is that the engines are No Longer Anatomically Accurate (I used to live with a bloke with train nerd tendencies).

motherinferior · 13/10/2004 09:08

Care Bears are available in revolting video form, as purchased in Sainsbury's by fathers feeling indulgently guilty after dropping and losing other, nicer bears.

coppertop · 13/10/2004 09:36

I'd hoped that the revolting Care Bears would've died a horrible furry death by now. Please tell me that the equally awful My Little Pony things have met a sticky end in a cartoon glue factory and are not still torturing innocent parents?

LOL at anatomically innacurate trains!

marthamoo · 13/10/2004 09:37

What..they used to have willies?

motherinferior · 13/10/2004 10:17

Alas no willies, but Fenders and Bumpers or whatever else makes trains look like trains. Don't ask me, I'm a girl. I'm a GIRL [cue Some Like It Hot moment]
