by the way skate, why don't you record the trailers.

yingers74 · 29/09/2004 15:54

Yorkiegirl, agreed, am really disappointed. The advert brings such a smile to my daughter's face, she claps and nods her head to the music. The bbc should stop making programmes and move into advert making!

BooMama · 29/09/2004 16:22

omg - have just walked in on my ds in front of the tv doing the digger song!
Am actually quite pleased as he is usually comatose when the tv in on.
Just shows what a couple of programme repetitions will do for him.
Such a shame that I hate it so much then!

mrsflowerpot · 01/10/2004 09:36

is it the same exact programme every day? We saw it on Monday and then again today, and I swear it was the same. It is rubbish, I agree.

Furball · 01/10/2004 22:02

Yep -It is just a dressed up repeat everyday, with a different warm up. As I've heard it everyday sometimes twice as DS(3) thinks it's fantastic and knows the words and sings them while doing the actions at every opportunity. I'm now singing the blooming song as well. ARRRRGHH Digger, digger, digger, dig, dig. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EvesMama · 01/10/2004 22:50

my dd 917 months) dances along to the funky advert and we couldnt wait for it to start... what a load of rubbish!!! singing about dig it all week was boring. it's a massive anti climax dd v.dissapointed

Gomez · 01/10/2004 22:52

But it is all about the 'ocean motion' next week which I am sure will be great fun....

EvesMama · 01/10/2004 23:00

yeah..on monday, but what about rest of week? we are going to be driven mad by this programme!

linniewith2 · 02/10/2004 00:51

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I cant wait to 'do do do do do the ocean motion'.......NOT !
digger digger digger digger dig a dig dig is driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ScummyMummy · 02/10/2004 01:24

Well I thought it was fab. So there. My babies and I digger digger digger digger digger dig digged all the way to school yesterday.

SilverLining · 12/10/2004 15:28

Have to just say how much we LOVE this programme! Took a bit of getting used to but now we are totally converted and are doing the kangaroo all day at work (much to the annoyance of those with no children!).

Its such good fun - my DD just can't wait to do it and anything that gets your children shaking their thang at 7.40am is a good thing in my book!!

Just looking forward to doing the shimmying when that one starts!! And as for shaking my coconuts......

beachyhead · 12/10/2004 15:30

I do the milkshake shake - anyone else!!!!!

motherinferior · 12/10/2004 15:34

DD1 is totally addicted. DD2 has a go too.

Bagpuss30 · 12/10/2004 15:39

DS did the digger song at the post office......

bundle · 12/10/2004 15:51

dd1 refuses to join in, then the other day as the ad was on (superior to actual prog imo) she did all the moves, in a groovy manner...

Tommy · 12/10/2004 16:38

We did a lot of bouncing yesterday and today - it's really upped my total on the pedometer
We love it as well!

TwoIfBySea · 12/10/2004 22:16

Was such a disappointment after the advert. Ds twins (33months) love dancing around particularly to the Wiggles which has them dancing around the whole time it is on. Thought this would be just as good but it is utter rot and ds twins didn't get into it at all.

Sorry to say but Hi-5 is just as atrocious! Especially the girls in it! What is it with the big shoes they wear, is that intentional or some odd fashion statement?

Ds1 has absolutely no interest in the prancing around but is driving us mad with all the songs. The digger one is the current favourite but the ocean motion isn't far behind.

marthamoo · 12/10/2004 22:31

Ds2 absolutely loves it - he jumps around, sings the songs - I have never seen him so gripped up by anything other than Thomas the Blasted Tank Engine.

That woman is very scary though...

marthamoo · 12/10/2004 22:32

And my best friend has just beaten me to Gold at Weight Watchers and she swears it's from doing a Boogie Beebies workout with her dd every morning.
