Will James and Ian finally have to knuckle down and do some work?

I’ve heard of Avengers Assemble but I didn’t make the link. I think without the alliteration it wasn’t so obvious, I’m a teacher and the term assemble just makes me think of assembly really. I wouldn’t link it to the film, although in hindsight it seems obvious I think out of context (Eg: in the middle of the jungle 7 years after the film and when you’re expecting it to link to something scary/ gruesome) it’s much less so.

But my point is, if you had met and interviewed Thor himself, it would have been your job to research all the roles/movies etc. I'm not saying it's a weird conspiracy or anything, just was interesting that none of them made the link, when it was obvious to me

If you’re routinely and regularly interviewing actors as part of your job a single interview you did over 3 years ago might not really stick in your mind that much if you didn’t also have an interest in the film.

Probably I haven’t watched in years.

Scary how much they are missing James. He was obviously an excellent manipulator in that environment. (The alternative being he’s a secret good guy and erm um...)

I've been pleasantly surprised in that I like Caitlyn, but having said that, she really hasn't (for me) represented any value for money this series and has been one of the duller camp mates.

Having read about how much she's being paid I expected a much bigger character.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone comes out of their shell a bit now James has gone.

They all seem very fond of James tbh

Only Roman and JJ have said about missing him though, and Ian. Not sure Kate and Andy are missing him.

This trial is grim. It’s like the producers thought ‘they haven’t said I’m a celeb yet’ how can we make it happen.

The combination of being strapped down, that smell, the stuff landing in their faces and the constant rotation causing dizziness... grim.

@AppleKatie yes you could see KG's journalist roots there couldn't you the way she asked, great stuff...even if I have just had to explain to DH who Kris is etc etc....

That trial was tough physically and in gross terms!

I think the camp like James because he was supportive I think they were just all to close to it to see the controlling arrogant side! Either that or itv hate James and put all of his worst bits in the edit!

I wasn't sure on Caitlyn at the start but I think having here there has brought up she's willing to actually talk about things most celebrities avoid!

Ian seems a lot happier now!

I read that it was edited to make James look a lot worse than he is. Like after the jungle challenge, apparently they'd been discussing it for 10 minutes and that's why James lost it. I never liked him but they all seemed to so who knows?

That was a horrible trial. All those creatures chucked in there to die for entertainment.
