They should have cancelled the vote. The younger members of camp are more likely to have fans using the app rather than phone votes. As a radio 1 DJ Adele's fan base is going to be younger voters.

It's a shame Adele left first because she did so well in the trials.

Yeah I agree they should have postponed the eviction until they sorted the app and then had a re-vote.

I know app voting is free but I've put the time in to watch it live & waited to vote in the voting window.
Had I have known it wouldn't count I could have chosen to vote by phone.

Really warmed to Adele she shouldn't of been the first to go she done so well, really like nadine aswell. Who even picks the phone up to vote anymore? I can't remember doing that since pop idol when I was young.

Think last time I picked up the phone to vote was about the time Adele was on Big Brother.

I voted via the app and I'm definitely not a young demographic, don't think the app is solely for the youngsters - I use the app as it's free

Adele did win the trial last night and got one immunity today.
It's like she was cursed regardless to go first.

I think when they said it was due to the wording on the app that maybe it was because it wasn’t clear if it was vote to win or vote to leave.

They couldn’t have cancelled the vote. They had approx a 3 min ad break to make the decision and write the auto cue for ant and Dec and 20 mins of live programme to fill with an eviction chat.

I think under the circs once the app cock up had happened they did the best they could. And what is it they used to sing on big bro sometime way back when ‘it’s only a game show....’

I think that they only stayed with the outcome because the cock up (which they had to acknowledge because it’s all over social media) didn’t actually affect the outcome and Adele was going home anyway. The figures for voting will be available (eventually) and so it’s not something they can get away with. DDs used the app and did notice the ambiguous wording but voted anyway, we thought it was just us not getting it, they also pointed out that certain camp mates will benefit/suffer from a cock up in a particular platform due to demographics.
