Right results as far as I'm concerned. Didn't hear them say what dances everyone is doing next week, did anyone manage to take note?

Well that was a disappointing week really. I don’t mind couples choice but it goes to show that it needs to be good to be popular and probably why the jazz numbers are better received. Every dance tonight left me a bit cold. I like Alex and Chris as they’re the most genuine and likeable (and I’m a sucker for a journeeee), Karim and Emma are annoying - Emma feels like she auditioning for her future stage role and Karim is a ringer and I just can’t get behind that, he’s not got enough personality to win me over. I can’t dislike Kelvin. He strikes me as one of those people who’s just good at stuff (winning the pro/am rallying as well), I’ve no doubt he’s a ringer but he’s very likeable with it. I won’t vote for him until Alex and Chris are gone though.

Well it’s very late and I’m up very early tomorrow. I’m working out of Wi-fi range next week but hopefully back on Saturday for the quarters. Keep safe you lovely ladies and keep a seat for me next week. Goodnight.

I think all the couples choice should be done on the same night.

Samba didn’t suit Saffron at all, she would have stayed longer if she had another dance.

What does a "ringer" mean please?

Ringer = Somebody with significant previous dance experience pretending otherwise to appear like some kind of dance savant who began at the same start point as a complete novice.

Yes Karim does appear fake, like being so surprised that the judges saved him in the DO

I think Saffron has does well, to get your first big criticism or disappointment in life in front of millions of people is a lot to take in. She even seemed to set AJ off crying so hopefully they have a good partnership.

It would get it all out of the way quickly at least!

So is Karim a ringer or not? He mentioned drama school during his sob story piece, but nothing about dancing (although obvs wouldn't expect him to).

I was surprised Karim was in the dance off, thought it would be Alex, Saffron or Emma. Glad Saffron is gone though, must admit.

Why is Alex so popular ? She’s awful. I don’t get it at all. That rictus grin and fake journey stuff along with little ol me who would’ve thought.
Karin leaves me so cold. Has there ever been anyone with less of a personality ?

pesto I think Saffron' s dance experience has been kept very quiet it hasn't done her much good though has it?

Definitely got the impression this was the first time she's ever been told no or that she's failed at something

Chipstick I vote for Alex because she seems to be the most authentic one to me and yes, she has had a dance journey. She is a non dancer and has improved since the start, although yesterday's AT was disappointing in my opinion.

I don't see any fakeness from her, but gratitude that she's still in the competition. She knows she's not the best dancer and has dodged potential DO twice now being at the bottom.

People are allowed to like her as much as you are allowed to dislike her.

I understood Saffron had been to ballet class as a 3 year old, hardly makes her Darcy Bussell. I don't know about the private lessons.
Karin went to stage school hence his early career in The Sparticle Mysteries.
Kelvin was in Emmerdale from a young age.
Emma went to Guilford.
Alex and Chris don't have any dance/stage school experience as far as I'm aware.

I find her vibe to be genuine Chipstick, and I liked her anyway from her football stuff.
She’s not the best dancer but her and Chris are the only characters I like now.

I think if Karim can take in boards Craigs comments, and not just think 'but he gave me a nine so I can’t be that bad' he can claw back support. Just one performance that lives up to his potential and we'll all be delighted I think.

I don’t dislike Oti, but She has no emotional impact on me. Her and Kelvin are good but I dint get excited for them.

Dd pointed out that Kelvins nan looks more like a dealer than a 'cute nan' 😂😂😂😂😂. Dh said he wouldn't want to fight her!
Doesn't appear to have done him much harm though.
