DD comments on the lack of two women dancing.

I think they've done it in a previous series when the group dance (or part of it) was all same sex pairings...? Something like that.

Agree re 2 women dancing together being a more common site. Any dancing class I have been to has had women dancing together due to a male shortage.

AJ might well be more alpha and whiplashy in training than I thought bless him.

I think he’s always been quite a hard taskmaster in training, for all he’s a bit of a milquetoast media bot. He seems to be one of the few pros who uses the correct names of the movements he’s teaching, and he doesn’t pull any punches with lifts and drops and the like. While I can’t think of any of his routines as being particularly memorable I think he is a good teacher and choreographer and he pushes his celebs quite a bit to get the best out of them.

I would love him to get a Michelle Visage or Stephanie Beacham type next year!

I hope they're taking the Pro Challenge seriously, and it's not some sort of Pro "in joke", otherwise it's a bit of a waste of everyone's time.

Re: Graziano. I have really warmed to him this series. Hes always happy and waving in the background, willing to be put in the stupidest costumes, gamely playing along. Not for him any Twitter pissiness! Hes just happy to be in the room. I hope his professionalism has been noted and appreciated and he's back with a celeb next year.

I feel a bit sorry for Graziano. The show is happy to employ pros with much less of a 10-dance background, then the judges give them a hard time if they don't teach their celeb appropriately (to dance routines where how strictly or otherwise the rules will be applied varies depending on whether a) it's a theme week b) Shirley has indigestion from too much chicken c) the moon is rising in Scorpio or d) all of the above.

He didn't but he was showboating last year but so did Giovanni his first year but he has grown into it, I think they just get over excited !

I like Graziano. Much prefer him to Trent or Tristan (could not stand Tristan).

Last year was his first year so I think he deserves some leeway. Also he had that Vick who seemed to be pretty hard work and hardly had any training time

He was on ITT the other week and seemed to be in good spirits.. so this isn't beyond the realm of possibilities...

@NumbersStation You are forgiven The bloke is very easy on the eye, but I do like the description above of him as being like a beautiful but dim puppy!

I don't think his command (or lack of) of English helped him last year. I imagine that will have improved significantly since. If not, maybe he could use sign language and physically placing his partner where he wants them...

Well poor old Giovanni seemed to have barely 5 words of English when he was paired with Georgia not that it was much of a barrier to shagging her and he's chatting away ninety to the dozen now with a wee English cadence and everything.

So I'm hoping Graziano has improved a fair bit by now.
