Soooooooooo what an exciting 2 episodes

MEL is dead. Didnt expect that after the car crash tho agree would have looked more splattered and squashed , then just a bit of head blood on the road

Few weeks to Xmas - will Phil find out baby isn’t his

Don’t think Louise’s baby is keegans as he said he was a virgin to tiff

Tho when keanu starting dating LOUISE , keegan did say about his left overs so maybe he wasn’t a virgin .....

Would be an amazing twist if baby is black

Ollie. He could be a lot worse not sure why L is so cut olio

Not sure if anything else exciting is happening

Dentist and honey. She stays with him tho cheating

Ben bullying Martin. Needs to stop and Stacey to come back

Are kats kids going to make an appearance soon ?

Bobbys religion

What else have I missed

Doe anyone agree that Billy has become more reliable and honest of late? I think that Honey could go back to him and all would be well. (Karen obviously disappointed, but she does bounce back well.)

PinkDaydreams · 23/12/2019 12:46

I thought Kat still had money from alfie? Can’t she use that to pay the rent?
Also I didn’t realise honey had a thing for jack, I’m not very observant!

PinkDaydreams · 23/12/2019 12:47

@Optimist1 I hope billy doesn’t get back with honey as she’s been horrible to him and it would be like she’s going back with him just for the sake of being with someone and not by herself

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 13:04

Stacey have Phil his money back ages ago !

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 13:05

Gave rather !

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 13:57

Just watched an old 80s Eastenders on drama channel.
Grant married Sharon and they were all so thin!
Ian was being horrible and Mark told his mum and dad he had HIV.
Happy days , even if the acting was a bit cheesy and the set rather drab looking!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/12/2019 14:02

They could all hide in dodgy loft extension, pull up the ladder and sit tight

The Slaters house has a garage IIRC ( green wooden doors) one of the few houses. Not sure if Dr Legg's house did but it certainly had off street parking (before Vince bought it and made the house 3 storeys - basement flat for his Mum) and Donna could get round the back, he did a ramp for her )

If the Slater's house was IRL, that garage would be knocked down and a double storey extension built before you could say "Queen Vic"

Kat could hide there (I'm sure it's full of clutter which is why the house is tidy with twenty people (slight exageration) living there .

Just looked on phtos - the loft staircase is a spiral staircase ....is that legal? (I know Alfie didn't seem worried about Planning Permission when he built it ! Grin ) but that wouldn't be accepted ( which the Brothers would've found if they had a survey done )

PinkDaydreams · 23/12/2019 15:05

@The80sweregreat ahhh yes I remember now! Oops!

RowenaMud · 23/12/2019 16:47

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 23/12/2019 17:46

Yes. Or knocked down and a separate house built!

RowenaMud · 23/12/2019 17:49

Yes. Or knocked down and a separate house built!

😂😂 So true. Or in Dublin the garage would be rented out for the same rent as an actual house and there would be a queue of people trying to rent it!

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 23/12/2019 17:54

😂

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 17:58

Must be hardcore on Christmas night to be on so late. More guns or gangster nonsense! (After a few pink gins I might be asleep by then though. )

gingercat02 · 23/12/2019 18:10

I was thinking that too 80's. It is more violent recently. DH calls EE that awful shouty programme but recently I have taken to watching it on iPlayer or recorded on Sky rather than "live" so ds 11 doesn't walk in on it

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 18:29

It is a shame that any confrontation between the characters usually ends up in a ' slanging match' or a gun waving / beat them up moment.
My brother thinks it's a bad example as all arguments end up in a big row and nothing is resolved in a quiet considered manner! I told him that would be a bit boring , but I can see his point of view to be fair. Hasn't stopped me watching though.
I suppose most of the soaps are the same though. (Would be boring if they sat around with tea and cake listening to each other) lol
Occasionally they throw in a considered moment ; as when Ruby admitted she slept with Martin straight away to max and Jay usually sorts things out without getting too upset/ shouty etc.
It's rare though.

CoolCarrie · 23/12/2019 20:22

That poor baby being called Peggy , couldn’t they have picked a nice name?

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 23/12/2019 20:32

So that’s callums police career over before it’s begun. Ben can have him back now Grin

CadburyFlake · 23/12/2019 20:33

Who got run over?

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 20:38

Has Leo been knocked down?

What where they doing and stealing?

I am thinking that Martin is having a flash back to people being run over : there usually is someone run over during Christmas or new year , so could be anyone I guess!
Poor Callum ; can't join the police now! Will he join Ben on the dark side?

Optimist1 · 23/12/2019 20:38

Did anyone notice how Jack (he who was at the end of Phil's boot for a horrendous length of time within the past week) was walking and running without any discernible after effects and his face appeared to have healed up entirely?

southeastdweller · 23/12/2019 20:41

I wonder who the hit and run victim is - it must be a regular character as a random one would be boring but maybe I'm giving the writers too much credit.

The80sweregreat · 23/12/2019 20:41

Of course Jack is ok! It's like Lourdes on the square : scars, bruises, most injuries heal up in no time at all. Bit of savlon or the special hospital room and they are good to go again! 😂

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 23/12/2019 20:48

I noticed that optimist!

Chienloup · 23/12/2019 21:28

Bloody Sonia going on about Arfa stealing the Christmas money, she stole charity money for gastric band surgery. Clearly she's forgotten.

Poor stupid Martin, flashbacks to killing Jamie will undo him.
