Iirc, Roxy and Phil were cousins, making Roxy and Ben first cousins once removed, and Ben and Amy second cousins. It's possible the relation seems distant enough that they don't feel related at all, I know I don't feel a familial connection much with my second cousins

Yeah, I remember years ago she had fertility issues after a botched abortion, then got pregnant and then pregnant at 50 when hardly anyone gets pregnant easily! Doesn't add up.

I think the BBC expect us thickos to forget these things. On Casualty about 5 years ago, a doctor and a nurse were an item and the doctor got pregnant twice (one was either terminated or miscarried, can't remember.) But just before this the father (the nurse Jay) was treated for testicular cancer and had one testicle removed and part of the storyline was his fertility was either gone or severely reduced, but he got her up the duff quickly!

Yes to Sharon conceiving and not only conceiving with historical infertility issues, her age but also having a very very stressful pregnancy including being blackmailed and threatened. It beggars belief. Now that Phil knows and Linda is drinking too much to notice, she can’t fly to Oz to Michelle in the last month or two of pregnancy, Martin is busy being a criminal, who will she turn to? I’d have thought Ian - her oldest friend and arch enemy of Phil - but Kathy lives with Ian so she can hardly bunk up there when Ben seems to have his own key there these days. Where can she go?????
