It 's funny listening to them talking (on Prime) about Stef like he is some child who has just won- and now young kids will be inspired. Sascha was also 21 when he won it last year (a few months older, but still, 21).

The thing is- we have been here before, and I know Rafa, Fed and Djok can't go on for ever, but each time there is a breakthrough with one of the young players, something then happens which stalls it. I'm hoping Stef is different.

I also hope that now that they have had a few months to see that you can get great matches without resorting to underarm serving hand tactics/swearing and being a dick, they will focus on the players who deserve the attention.

I do think Stef is a bit different from the other "next big thing" players, but Greg is picking him to win a slam already by next year! I mean you never know, but over best of 5 it's all a bit different.

I know he did brilliantly in Australia. But I still can't really imagine anyone other than the Big 3 winning a Slam these days! They can't go on forever... but still...

I agree he is probably the one most likely (if he can stay consistent) - but I thought that about Sascha. I think if Rafa has a wobble at RG, Dom (if fit) could do it. I wouldn't mind that.

It's not that long ago,the pundits decided Daniil was going to slay all the competition. Tennis pundits are a fickle bunch. .
