I'd hazard a guess that Shirley took what Anton thought it will finally be his cushy seat when she became a judge + as head judge she has again played a part in denying him the job by favouring Motsi to join the panel.
I think the beef is between Shirley and Anton, not Shirley and Emma.

I think the thing I like about Katya is that she never lets her celeb be shit. Like even if she gets a contestant who is clearly going to be shit, she still makes them do their very best and takes them seriously.
