They had a clip from the training room on ITT, he's on a crutch, so they said hopefully he'll be dancing on Saturday, but still seems up in the air. Presume Gorka Kev will be on a standby...

Just came on here to wonder if anyone saw the news about a certain contestant. Now I'm bloody too scared to say who it is, even though it isn't really a spoiler!

Just watching ITT now devastating for Will and Janette. I get irritated by Janette's antics in the Clauditorium, but she really comes through for her partners and she was amazing this series.

How sad for them. I'm not surprised though :(

People who think Gorka should stand in for Neil. Why? Why not Graziano or Kevin? Graz is benched too. Is it just because Gorka is sexier in your opinion?
I think Kevin stepping in the last minute and Alex giving him direction shows just how good Kevin really is and how professional Alex was under pressure. She may have been marked extra high to avoid DO but I think she deserved them.

Neil on crutches and Alex doing the American Smooth on her own. Bit worrying for Neil. Poor guy, in his first year too.

Why haven't they subbed someone in for Neil already this week? Surely that would have made sense of he's on crutches.

Alex and Neil chose Kev as their replacement, which is their business. Gorka just looked daft kicking off like a toddler.

Thanks to the poster who answered my Ian/Pasha question!
I like Ian's technical critique but I am sure I saw an episode of ITT where Rylan said they wouldn't be seeing each other again and the next one I watched Pasha was there!

That's because Ian is on Weds and Thurs which are normally Zoe's days, but last week Rylan was doing the whole week so he got to be there on the same days as Ian. That's not expected to happen again this series (although everyone seems to be dropping like flies, so who knows) which is why Rylan said he wouldn't be seeing Ian again.

Also Ian does analysis of the training, so dances that haven't been performed yet, whereas whoever is doing Choreography Corner (different person every week, Pasha last week) is analysing the dance performance from the weekend.

I can't stand Ian Waite and Zoe together. he's overly waspish and she's a twat.

I'm jumping to Anton's defence here, but somebody said he doesn't have awards compared to the others — he and Erin were British Professional Finalists, and World Rising Star semifinalists. Some of the current ones have never competed as professionals, but have come through a more stage/performance route.

I think the problem is that ballroom specialists find it harder to do Latin than Latin specialists find it to do ballroom, providing you had a reasonable grounding in both.

Well Anton can do Latin and Ballroom beautifully; I know he prefers ballroom which causes people to say he is rubbish at Latin but he isn't, he's great. I do miss Erin, she was marvellous - but life goes on.

I'm not mad about Anton in some ways but always admire his dancing. He's fortunate to have such a good partner this year in EmmaB.

Is anyone else feeling a distinct lack of enthusiasm for any of the celebs? By now I usually have a clear favourite but I'm struggling this year. There aren't even any I really can't stand.

Chris is my favourite for his pure enthusiasm, but it took me four weeks to choose him.

I loooooove Michelle. But then I've been watching RuPaulsDragRace for years and I liked her from that. She's firm but fair in her judging. Arguably more consistent than the Strictly judges! So I've been pleased that she's performing at a high standard.

Also she's had a ton of health problems in the last couple of years which she hasn't actually wheeled out for sympathy and I am finding that quite restrained in the midst of "VOTE FOR ME, I'VE GOT A NAN!" I mean she had to have a bloody biopsy the week before the opening show fgs.

I have no idea if herself and Giovanni actually like each other but I think they really respect each other as professionals. She may not tug on Giovannis heartstrings like Debbeh, but I think she's probably an absolute soldier for him.
