I'm afraid I agree. I also liked Jonnie Peacock's no-nonsense, 'judge me like the others' approach.

Saffron was surprisingly good. Really liked Michelle: an elegant take on the rumba. Enjoyed Emma and Aljaz; nice frock and better dancing. Alex was much better but am that no one commented on her being clumsy getting out of the lifts.

Claudia's polka-dot dress was nice. She suits that white.

Although I said to DH immediately after Will and Janette's dance - "well, he's not going anywhere this week " - I actually didn't mind the VT beforehand. It was saying what actually happened to him as a child and gave some context and explanation for the dance that followed, so in that sense, I didn't think it was a gratuitous sob story for a brazen vote grab. Unlike the competely gratuitous.....let's wheel out the cute children, aged nan etc......which just annoys me.

I'm not saying the dance was great (especially as it's contempowaft) but I don't necessarily have a problem with showing the back story, in this instance.

Anyone here for the results show? Not loving this number - probably looks great in the studio but I don't like the camerawork and routine for tv.
