Private I think you are right! Grin

Funny the things that stick in your head.

I was stuck in hospital I think that week, with dd2. It seems ages ago in one respect.

PrivateSpidey · 30/10/2019 20:33

It does seem like ages ago... And also not Hmm

Yikes Mannarino did well to break back there Shock

Raahh · 30/10/2019 20:42

I've just realised that Mannarino has changed his top to a star version.

observant

Raahh · 30/10/2019 20:44

Stripping!

kazzaD66 · 30/10/2019 20:44

Blimey! What's with all the baby pink accents, Rafa Hmm
Is he now fully in touch with his feminine side since becoming a husband Confused

Mannarino has that awful stars and skull kit that Feliciano wears Hmm

Centre Court much better than Court 1 but still too much grey. Guy needs to get his paint brush out Grin

Am I going to be the only one on here cheering for Stan tomorrow Grin

Raahh · 30/10/2019 20:45

I really like Tsonga and Berretinni but \i've been sitting here most of the day and am a bit numb.

Plus the other house members are revolting and demanding tv rights.

Raahh · 30/10/2019 20:46

This is why I hate Prime - we don't get to see the interview- in Rafa-ish.

kazzaD66 · 30/10/2019 20:46

When you say revolting Raahh.....

Raahh · 30/10/2019 20:48

kazza in every sense of the word Grin

kazzaD66 · 30/10/2019 20:49

Obviously, he's not so good in French Rafa-ish as he is in English Rafa-ish, bless him Smile

kazzaD66 · 30/10/2019 20:50

Grin Raahh

PrivateSpidey · 30/10/2019 20:50

I quite liked the pink.

I love both Stan and Rafa so I don't mind who wins. The only thing I would say is Rafa would have more chance of beating Djok to the title (unless Stan goes into beast mode). But I'd be happy whoever wins that one.

Vamos Rafa!

Baghdatis baby is called Zeus!

Fizzywinegum · 30/10/2019 20:56

I want Rafa to win (sorry StanBear)

Flat pack furniture is the way forward Raahh - it’s kept everyone away from the Tv Halloween Wink

They said that Rafa had been working on his French Smile

Fizzywinegum · 30/10/2019 20:56

Baby Zeus Grin

Raahh · 30/10/2019 21:15

Zeus?? That is a lot to live up to! Grin

PrivateSpidey · 30/10/2019 22:13

Grin Brilliant!

Raahh · 30/10/2019 22:17

I have always loved Baghdatis. It just make me love him more. I'm sure this is number 3- what are the others called? They feel hard done by igf they are the Cypriot equivalent of Bill and Ben.

Raahh · 30/10/2019 22:19

Ok, they have have 2 girls called Zahara and India. It's still not quite Zeus. Grin

PrivateSpidey · 30/10/2019 22:58

It's not! Grin

Wow so JWT beat Berrettini eh - great week for him so far. Also that means Zverev has qualified for London - I think that's the final spot?

OP posts:
Raahh · 31/10/2019 07:26

I think Zverev took the 7th spot- as it stands, Monfils qualifies if he wins the tournament - the cut off points tally is a bit moot as this is the last tournament. (Bar Milan, next gen, which doesn't count). Berrettini could still get the 8th spot if Monfils goes no further, I suppose, at this stage the points cut off must justbe a guidance.

Stan would be 5 points off the cut off if he won- at least an alternate place? if he finished 9th. Alex De minaur is the only other one in play- but he must be setting his sights on Milan, with Stefanos not playing there.

PrivateSpidey · 31/10/2019 10:37

Ah yes - thanks makes sense.

Hope Stan makes it, even if as an alternate.

Raahh · 31/10/2019 11:38

I'd love Stan Bear to make it- given the rise of the younger players this year, it could be his last chance. He has done well to come back from injury.

There's lots of tennis babies around or imminent that he needs to provide Bears for, too.

He would be a popular draw in London.

Just sat down to see the doubles finish. the ball kids appear to be doing laps of the court. It's the small court.

Khachanov will be glad to get through in that at least!

Chardy is playing Garin. Think it might be going to 1 set all.

Raahh · 31/10/2019 11:42

Problem for Stan is of course, he is going to face Rafa next.

And I really want him to win here. It's another 'shut people up' scenario, because I'm sure he's only ever won one indoor tournament. And that was about 15 years ago or something ridiculous.

I have a feeling it will be Berrettini in London. Although he probably has a few years in him to get there again. So maybe it should be Gael's turn?

Raahh · 31/10/2019 11:52

This has just shown up on my FB- it was the first year we had the dog, and we took him out Trick or Treating (was better than leaving him in barking at the door). He was in need of a hair cut. We put a cape on him.

He was DrIkecula.
