I really didn't like that routine, hated all the red, thought it was very dull, but he was so good last week. I can't believe he's out this soon.

awaynboilyurheid · 13/10/2019 20:04

Think Emma did dance better, she had more bounce if that’s the technical term, but somone needs to seriously speak to Tess to stop those comments, she is oblivious.

theliverpoolone · 13/10/2019 20:05

I voted for both Dev and Emma (and David). DD's refusing to watch any more, she was supporting Dev. Alex and Chris (and if I'm honest, David) all should have been in the dance off more than those two. Dev was so good last week, such a shame he's gone.

Crinkle77 · 13/10/2019 20:05

Yes apollo me too.

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2019 20:05

Wasn’t it some awful 70s themed thing that got Aston out whenever it was?
A memorable routine with an attractive theme is crucial with this many dancers in still.

(I’d say that goes for Lady Emma this week too, that theme/outfit was the pits)

AnneShirleysNewDress · 13/10/2019 20:06

I thought the routine was poor and he looked uncomfortable. Dianne seems devestated.

SoupDragon · 13/10/2019 20:06

I didn't think Emma had improved. She looked oddly "contained" in her upper body/arms

MsJuniper · 13/10/2019 20:06

I thought it would be unanimous for Dev - Emma's routine was so messy and I didn't enjoy it at all. Dev added so much more personality from the first time. I also liked the red outfits against the lighting but realise I am in a minority with that.

Encyclo · 13/10/2019 20:06

Tess acts like she was buillt in Westworld, repeating the same script on a loop

xsquared · 13/10/2019 20:07

Poor Dev and Diane. She's absolutely devastated. I didn't vote for them as I thought he was safe.

Egghead68 · 13/10/2019 20:07

Shocked that Dev is out. It’s like when Aston Merrygold went. Ridiculous marking this week.

Bet there will be racism allegations again.

ChampooPapi · 13/10/2019 20:07

@100PercentThatBitch

There's an increasing car crash element to Mike and Katya which adds to the viewing

So true Glitterball

ShirleyPhallus · 13/10/2019 20:09

That standing there not dancing and acting like someone had died....

I wonder if something has happened to someone working on the show, for them all to be crying so much?! Claudia was crying, Dianne was bereft, Katya’s sobbing - I’m sure they all don’t cry that much!

TequilaPilates · 13/10/2019 20:09

Dianne was devastated - don't think I've ever seen a pro react like that.

Amy was really crying too. What was going on?

ChampooPapi · 13/10/2019 20:10

@Encyclo so much. They need to disconnect her or upgrade!

Ursaminor · 13/10/2019 20:12

Newcomer, twirling in like an angry dervish:

Revo (Richard Coles) has tweeted saying he wants a word with the public about their behaviour to Dianne, and loads of people have tweeted back to say they couldn't get through on the phone last night.

derxa · 13/10/2019 20:13

Whoever did Dev's choreography should feel ashamed.

100PercentThatBitch · 13/10/2019 20:13

I've never seen sobbing like it

From CLAUDIA too

It's not like they are going backstage to escape to a convent before the Nazis make him sign up for their Navy as a Captain

covetingthepreciousthings · 13/10/2019 20:14

Whoever did Dev's choreography should feel ashamed

I actually liked the dance, might be alone in saying that. I thought he'd be safe so didn't spare a vote for him Sad gutted for them both.

MyMumIsADimensionJumper · 13/10/2019 20:14

Sorry to say this, but lots of people appear to vote for the weaker dancers to keep them in. This is what happens as a result. A good person who had a bad week and is mid table ends up going as voters think they are safe. The fucking crazy scoring also doesn't help. Really think Saffron didn't have the best week and had less potential. They marked her 30 didnt they? Nuts.

It's been a weird weekend overall with random crying and shameless wheeling out of nans. Bit of an emotional car crash. I hope it doesn't continue with that and the weird scoring, as it it really putting me off.

I do think the judges were trying to engineer an Alex exit, possibly due to the tabloid rumours. Think it's backfired somewhat!

Figgygal · 13/10/2019 20:15

I can't believe Dev left out of those two emma had the harder dance though

Aw she was so gutted

It's cried for her

Bluffinwithmymuffin · 13/10/2019 20:15

Today 20:01 SunshineCake

It is not at all that the public don't love the bottom two. One can't vote off people. It is that they love someone else more.

That’s exactly right. Love Dev and Diane, just not this week... didn’t like the routine or the costumes... all that red...

Figgygal · 13/10/2019 20:16

It was the jumpsuit that did it
Fringed jumpsuit WTF!!

ChicCroissant · 13/10/2019 20:19

I think Dianne is going to be Amy's bridesmaid? They are close friends. Dianne probably thought she was on to a winner this year and was absolutely devastated - I'm sure I've seen Katya cry over another competitor but can't remember who now.

I looked up the spoiler last night and didn't read it properly so was imagining the wrong Emma in the dance off - when Emma and Anton went through I was Confused

Dev was one of the three dancers my DD actually recognised and she is gutted that he is out (I mentioned Aston as well), I thought he was a good dancer and deserved to go further but have to agree with all the red not doing the choreography any favours (more the red panels although the clothing matching Dianne's hair/clashing with Tess's jumpsuit didn't help).

Encyclo · 13/10/2019 20:19

On the plus side for Katja, all the other sobbing people balanced her out a bit in the end.
