Shiny new thread.

I was ready to slate that opening number but I actually quite liked that despite the fact there wasn't that much Dane content. However I loved how my favourite piece of film music was played at the end.

On another not how can Tess wear such a lovely dress last night to that hideous black velvet number . Especially when you consider it was all filmed in one evening

Does anyone else find the judges' twirls really annoying?

Either rehearse something so you don't crash into each other or just take your seats with the minimum of fuss.

Don't like either Tess's nor Claud's dresses tonight. They only get a 4 from me.

I liked the pros' dance tonight. Not only a nod to the classic films but also to the soundtracks. Loved the ending with "The PM's theme".

Tess’s dress is awful.

Please don't let Anneka go, she is such good entertainment value.

Her dress reminds me of the puff sleeves of the '70's , where you had ribbons to have 2 or 3 'puffs' - didn't like them then either

Still reeling at the sheer shiteyness of Neils outfit.

I often think with Tess & Claudia's dress that they spend so much time concentrating on the dancers outfit. Which is quite right . That they are often an after thought. So the first time they see them or try them on is 10 seconds before they go on air. Which is too late for anything to be done and something nice me can be found. So they have to wear in some cases absolute monstrosities

Ah well. No surprise really.

Anneka pretty much guaranteed to go home, unless she's against David and he mucks it up.

I was worried for Alex too Grouchy. Glad she's through. I don't think her pairing with Neil is a good one.

Canny Emma, looks after the glam squad. That's her costumes sorted then.

The three that I voted for went through, so I am pleased for them.

I will miss Anneka's enthusiasm but she really wasn't good yesterday.
