EE can do humour at times. Shirley was good for a put down and occasionally they do banter. It's rare , but good when it does happen.
They should be a bit more funny ; lighten the mood of permanent misery!

Kirsty is a 'mardy mare'. I dislike her immensely and her fake cockney accent.
I hope she goes back to Wales sooner rather than later.

Nobody can have any other accent apart from cockney , fake cockney , mockney or just a shouty accent. Vicky had an American accent for a few weeks , but it didn't last long.
Sharon speaks quite well but then she did attend a private school in the 80s!

Well... Kats lost a lot of weight & is looking really great & a loy younger without the tacky red lippy, but why put her with Kush. Her characters best in a relationship with drama. I'd put her with Max. They're both damaged & there'd be real drama & chemistry. I also think the current Ben is the best actor & best fit so far. Tho him getting punched is getting repetitive. Jack & Denise is also a poor fit/no chemistry, tho the return to being a Detective is good for his boring character & adding in new situations. Keeping Stuart was good idea, hes a great actor, but as he was so vile at the start it makes his turn around less believable. Martin... I'm sorry, but he's aboring character & the actor is not on a par with the rest of the characters around him who are all great actors (Stacey, Jean, Sonia etc). Giving him more to do just hilights this.

Where was Ricky? He wasn't even mentioned! Did he go back to Sam?

I was also 'where's Ricky?' Lol! So tiffs figured out whit's new boyfriend is dodgy as. And there was a letter saying the landlord is selling number 31 (is that Janine? Will she return?!) and the slaters are all poor and in debt suddenly, whatever happened to phil's cash did kat give it back In the end and will they now borrow cash from Ben so Martin has to debt chase his own faaaaaamily?

I'm really liking Tiff now she's turned her life around. She's got more common sense that most of the other characters on the Square (and certainly more than the rest of her extended family put together). Go Tiff!

Just been catching up on classic eastenders. Franks mum is away for Xmas and Diana has her friend and baby off streets to stay. Dot was moaning about it being a council house and sub letting should not be allowed! Funny given she’s had about 50 people over last few years in her council house.

Tony's son knows, he had the whole "lie" out with Bianca a few weeks ago. That's why she sent Whit off on her solo honeymoon and she and Tiff went to a spa (and B forget to come back as she hasn't been seen since)
