Does anyone watch this?
Poor bear he was sent back again. He seemed such a lovely dog.
The family who adopted Bailey were so good with him

OP posts:

Poor Buddy! The people who brought him back did not love him at all !!! They pushed him away and the guy from the shelter clearly wasn't impressed with them ...

Raahh · 26/09/2019 20:13

I do love this programme. My schnauzer watches too Grin

I really felt for Buddy- they sold him 7 times?? He was obviously traumatised by something very early on, and needed decent training.

His 'owners' just wanted money, and the rescue centre was a last resortSad

Raahh · 26/09/2019 20:39

Looking at him interacting with this pair, I'm really wondering what went wrong 7 times? Confused

MiniCooperLover · 26/09/2019 21:09

They clearly did something like a quick cheap '£50 hrs yours in the pub' type thing, no way they did it responsibly. Neither of them showed him the slightest affection when they gave him up ... nasty 😳

BringMeTea · 26/09/2019 21:14

I agree it was upsetting seeing those puppy farmers. Grrrrr. So happy for the adoption though!

LolaDabestest · 26/09/2019 21:19

Going back to the first episode I was shocked that you let the daisey go home with the family whose girls were petrified of dogs, knowing there would be a chance it wouldn't work, which it didn't no way fair on the dog. You could see on the video how scared they were yet still let the dog go.

purpleme12 · 26/09/2019 21:35

I'm confused do you mean the ginger haired children? It said they decided not to take her cos the older child got worse with her when they were meeting her at the rescue

LolaDabestest · 26/09/2019 22:13

The dog went home with them though and had to come back

HeddaGarbled · 26/09/2019 22:24

No, I think you’re getting them muddled. Bear was returned but the Daisy family dropped out before it got that far, and one of the reasons the mum gave was that they were aware that while they were slowly working towards possibly taking her home, they were stopping her being adopted by someone else.

Ellmau · 27/09/2019 01:40

This is such a lovely programme.

GlitchStitch · 27/09/2019 09:44

Buddy and his new owner had me in tears, so lovely!

purpleme12 · 29/09/2019 16:54

I thought it was so clever how they were saying Blue could sense that the other dog was nervous so he acted like he was ignoring her

purpleme12 · 29/09/2019 16:58

I loved the Labrador cross German shepherd. I thought it wasn't going to work at first when she didn't like him jumping up

So sad when Blue was losing weight and sad

Raahh · 03/10/2019 20:05

The one with the little girl rings alarm bells, sorry.

Unicorn dog bed? I mean, my DC love our dog. But they also respect him. Ultimately , he is not a toy, he is my dog a family pet.

Raahh · 03/10/2019 20:08

Spoilt kids annoy me.

Bet she takes her out of school for shopping trips.

And she's allergic?

She will soon move on to wanting a phone. Or designer shoes. Don't get a dog.

Raahh · 03/10/2019 20:10

There are rescue centres closer to Chester....

Why Wood Green?

Raahh · 03/10/2019 20:34

It is annoying child week this week.

Ruby , and Alan, are lovely.

dogsdinnerlady · 04/10/2019 08:05

Yep, spoilt little madam's week at Wood Green. Am surprised they would allow a family who live in a flat with cats to adopt a young terrier pup. Of course it will wee on the bed if there's no access to outside. That tiger mum won't be happy with dog chewing her 'nice things'. Bet pup will be back in rescue soon.
The allergic girl was used to getting whatever she wants it seems but glad pup made her eyes water.

Raahh · 04/10/2019 08:21

I just didn't get why they were getting a dog at all. I've alwys wondered how people in flats toilet train puppies- and in their case it seems they just didn't bother Hmm.

They looked the types to have a cleaner to deal with it though.

lynsey91 · 04/10/2019 13:53

Was spoilt madam's name Summer Jewels? Ridiculous name although I guess it suits a spoilt brat

lynsey91 · 04/10/2019 14:19

I was surprised the person with the elderly dogs gave them up. I know she said it was meant to be a temporary thing but she had had them for 3 years so why decide to get rid? She must have had an idea that the older one would not be around much longer and then the other one is alone in a kennel! Not impressed with the woman at all

purpleme12 · 04/10/2019 22:12

I've just started watching it and my heart is breaking at Flynn and the other one coming in. And her hugging them 😢
It looks like they want is cuddles
I actually want them

purpleme12 · 04/10/2019 22:37

So heartbreaking that poor Lhasa apso who was so loved and her mummy died so she had to come into rescue. God it's making me cry

purpleme12 · 04/10/2019 23:10

So sad that they put Flynn down
Why couldn't he have spent the last of his says on a settee with cuddles
Did they really have to put him down he didn't seem like there was nothing in him yet
Brooke my heart I just wanted to cuddle him on the settee

dogsdinnerlady · 05/10/2019 07:24

lynsey.. her name was Summer Joules - as in the overpriced casual clotrhes brand.
