Zubin - his wife died in a car crash, I think, years ago.

Carlos & Trica it happened last week at Rics party. I think they slept together and now he is pretending that it didn't happen.

I tell you what somebody needs to get nutty and nickola a job at Holby they have the quickest nurse training in history! Never mind access courses. Last time I looked Tricia was a medical secretary.

She was but had originally been a nurse and started nursing after her affair with Owen. Strange her daughter ended up being the sister on her ward. That always happens in rl dosn't it.

Sorry sorry will try, am currently trying to persuade NMC that watching Holby can be used as part of my compulsory professional updating.

Totally addicted to Holby even though maternity story is almost always a crisis and rarely a remotely 'normal' birth in sight! I'd love to see the stats for that ward wrt to cs, placental abruptions, etc. Still since often there is tension around the mother (sometimes personal, sometimes staff e.g. Mubbs/Rosie, Micky's UCAS application, Owen/Diane, Owen/Mubbs power struggle), perhaps it is just proof that such situations do not make for good births!

Zubin - love him :-) Which doctor was it turned up with 'his' escort at a party at the private hospital they worked at which featured for a while? Also love stories about Ric and his gamlbing - the rise and fall. For a long time I thought he and Diane would get it together. Can't see Diane and Owen lasting tbh.

anyone watch casualty as well?

Report

stupidgirl · 21/09/2004 23:24

So am I the only one who thought he seemed surprisingly unsurprised on learning that his wife had died (almost as if he'd read the script...)?

Report

SueW · 21/09/2004 23:41

Yes, Casualty too

Glad Lara and Simon didn't work out. Not sorry to see the back of him tbh.

It's always interesting to see how actors depart - do they leave the way open for coming back? And Casualty seems to be the place where actors who have fallen on hard times crop up at the moment, as patients.

I'd love to see Jess and Zubin get it together and live happily ever after.

I read an interview with 'Connie' in a mag recently - she talked about a 7/52 life filming and how difficult this is to combine with living in Lincs. Hmmm, 7/52 job would be impossible to combine with anything, methinks!!
