Bernie is a year younger though so would have been doing GCSEs (if she ever went to school!). Those results aren't out for another fortnight I think. Why did she only do one too - was it actually an early AS?

The BBC soap showed Bex checking her results on a piece of paper, however the norm for students in the UK is to check the UCAS website online to see how they did.

DS was informed by email at 7:30am with UCAS then updating and emailing him shortly afterwards. We then went to pick up the actual paper results and for the school to take the tradition photo on the steps for their website.

If Bex didn't want to know, as shown by her not opening the envelope, she wouldn't have checked the electronic options either. Also, not opening an envelope is better for the visual dramatic medium that is TV!

DSs early email came from the school I believe.

Why would Gary be interested in Bobby when he isn't Bobby's dad? I can't remember how he found out he wasn't his dad but Laura died and Ian is his real dad , so Bobby had a terrible start in life without Gary rocking up as well! Lol.
The wibbly music is odd! Almost as odd as seeing Mick having to breath in a paper bag!

Gary relieved believed Bobby was his son, and Eastenders (and all soaps) are good are getting storylines from the most tenuous of links.
