OITNB S07E01 Beginning of the End (no spoilers from S07E02 onwards)

As in title. Thread to discuss Episode 1 of Season 7 of Orange is the New Black. Please don't post spoilers from anything after this episode.

It felt a bit weird to have a Piper voiceover, but I liked the scene where we heard the inner thoughts of Piper & Alex and then the inner thoughts of loads of unnamed inmates. Although Alex is constantly surrounded by loads of people, none of them really know her as Piper does.

It felt like a bit of an anti climax for Morellos storyline, it was quite dramatic at the end of the last season from my memory, and then in this one it was just a picture on the phone of the baby

I also liked the inmate thoughts scene too.

I felt the same @TheFirstOHN. I hope they don’t do too many voice overs throughout the series.

I wonder if something will happen to Morellos baby. She said all the boys are fighters and get through things which doesn’t normally end well..

I still really hate Badison, she’s so annoying! I’d rather her have been killed off than Daddy.

I'd like to lock Hellman and Badison in a room together and let them deal with each other.

Piper is no less annoying in episode 1 series 7 than she was in ep 1 series 1 . Though it was a nice balance in some weird way to show her not caring about peeing in front the probation lady.

Is it true that ex prisoners have to pay for their own drug testing if they take early release? I found that shocking.

Taystee is not looking good. I really hope she gets a turnaround in fortune as she's always been one of my favourites. Going to watch 2 tonight I think.
