In all honesty I dont think there was anything wrong with Micheal telling Amber, yet again, it wasnt going to happen.

But the way he did it and when he did it, was all kinds of wrong. He was angry at the situation and at himself for not walking out when Joanna was dumped from the island. He told Amber when he did, to take it out on someone. He wanted to upset and hurt her.

As for Amber, I am back and forth on Amber all the time. In this situation, While I dont think she has done anything wrong, she has had too faith in all the others opinions.

If I was Micheal and people kept banging on about whether I should go back to the person I previously dated I would get annoyed too. But that's not Amber's fault.

I think Amber made a mistake telling him how she felt, again. The issue just kept coming up again and again, causing more issues and problems. And when she told him, she told him she didnt want a response. Probably because she could see which way it was going. But I dont think it's her fault. She listened to the girls saying they knew he would give it a chance and he was only into Joanna because he though it was too late with Amber.

I dont know wether he has feelings for Amber or not. But it was obvious he wasnt going to back down and go back to Amber. But the girls kept reassuring her he would.

So I do think Micheal needed to shut it down, one last time. But he did it out of anger and to hurt her.

It's because Michael doesn't like Joanna and DOES like Amber and everyone can see it. But he is to much of a dickhead to admit that he made a mistake

I think Joanna really has really shown herself up. She’s already spent her time in there being bitter and bitchy towards amber now she’s reacted like this to leaving the villa. The way she acted - pushing Michael away/grabbing his face/calling him a snake - was just as bad as Michael talking to amber the way he did. I’m fact if it had been Michael or any other guy doing all that everyone would have been disgusted. I hope they stay together they deserve each other.

Not buying Curtis and Maura. Think she fancies him but we’ve already seen he’s quite capable of faking with Amy.

I doubt it. The other men were also predominately young at one point and it didn't bother them,

I also don't think Michael did anything wrong in saying he wasn't interested in amber, that's not the issue, the issue is the abusive and angry way he launched at her and did it.

Michael seems to be blaming everything on amber and lacking any form of personal responsibility. So he dumped her because of her behaviour and clearly because he thought there was a risk she would dump him. By not recoupling in his head it made him look like a dick. So her fault.

He was angry that the tweet said he was whipped, so instead of saying he should have said something like the others did when she was having a go at Danny, he's again made it her fault he was scared of her reaction. When she's never gone off the deep end at him. But he made it her fault he looked whipped.

Everyone saying he still fancies her. He's thinking that's because amber is saying or doing something to make them think that. But it's not, it's because he keeps mooning after her. Joanna said to him he keeps looking at amber, Maura said to amber he keeps staring at her. Ovie alluded to it too. The reason they all think he still fancies her is because of his own behavuour, not ambers, but again he's decided it's her fault. Not his.

He's angry he's looking like a dick again for saying Joanna was everything he was looking for, and not leaving, so he's decided this is also ambers fault. If she hadn't told him she still liked him, the people wouldn't think he was staying for her, so again it's her fault he looks like a dick, not his.

Several times he has looked like a total dick. And each time he's decided it's Not his fault.

He's getting savaged in the media as predicted.

Yes Michael seems to have no self awareness or reflection skills. He's up there with Anna in immaturity I think.

I don't think Joanna had time to consider more than he was clearly not leaving with her. If you watch it back she waits for him to say he will leave and all he does is say to the group "I do know it was a hard decision" "no hard feelings" and some other pointless rambles (not thank you mind) and how he "found what he was looking for" - then just looking at his shoes before a pause, then Joanna is told she must leave the island. As he said she would have left had it been the other way.

But it's completely obvious that he wasnt going to admit he made a mistake. So the girls telling her he would was bad advice.

The talk of babies and marriage all was very cringy and would have put me right off.

Joanna running away with thoughts of marriage and children, is what Amy did. For me it would out me right off.

Agreed amber needed to hear him say AGAIN he's not interested...although think he was doing this more because he knows Joanna will be watching it at home. Seriously though he's a selfish arse who needs to leave - it's not a mates holiday it's fricking love island and if I was Joanna I wouldn't be waiting for him, he's embarrassed her in my opinion.

Would also be nice of him to piss off out of there for Ambers sake.

Tommy is on the show to boost his profile - he has an agent (apparently the same as Maura) and I would be surprised if everyone hadn’t been coached on how to win this, but it’s pretty simple, just mimic Jack/Dani from last year (be an original, partner up early, only have one actual partner, go official etc). I think he likes Molly but they are also conscious of winning and it seems like it’s starting to show - Tommy causing trouble for Anton by telling Molly about the ‘shopkeeper’, Molly trying to talk Belle out of making up with Anton and telling the viewers she’s not sure about their relationship, Tommy being minimally excited about Curtis liking Maura, Molly and Tommy voting to save Anna/Jordan rather than risk a Michael/Amber reunion, Molly voting for Joanna to stay over Michael, even though she knows Amber wants a chance to get back with him... I think they thought they had this in the bag and now they are worried.

I like Belle and Anton more now, I though Belle’s explanation of why she blew up so much made sense, and I think Anton just messes up/puts his foot in it but doesn’t mean badly. They seem genuine to me.

I also found the way he as laughing during the eviction process discomforting, he was clearly hiding anger.

He handled it terribly, he could easily have said, I'm crazy about you Joanna and want to continue to get to know you better, part of me wants to leave, but this is a once in a life time opportunity so I would like to stay for the next two weeks, would you be upset by that.

Instead he said I've found everything I'm looking for, didn't sound sincere, then left it hanging because he didn't want to go.

The way he went at amber last night, and that was in front of the other contestants and knowing it was on tv. I'd bet good money if he'd been alone with amber, and no cameras, he'd have been a million times worse.

Anton and Belle look amazingly similar. Same noses, eyebrows, blue eyes and lips. In fact if someone can do the face swap thing I'd be interested to see that. I do think she was a little immature but explained herself well; which I think he also thought was conversely mature and was himself mature enough to say he used to do the exact same when he was younger. I really think they are very similar and therefore likely to work, perhaps.

I think we need to see the parents. I remember a study that had photo's of the parents weddings and then a group had to choose who the son/daughter was married to from head shots. A high majority got it right by mirroring what the parent's looked like.

I dread to think how badly Michael is going to react to Amber once they’re all out and he realises how his behaviour towards her has been perceived.

Michael is a d**k. As Amber has said all along, he’s the one who dumped her for someone new, and yet he’s been treating her like she’s in the wrong. I don’t get why he’s angry with her unless he simply can’t admit that he was the one to turn his head etc while amber stayed true. I didn’t like amber at first but I have really warmed to her. She’s dealt with this all really well.

I’m not keen on Anna at all but in this instance I hope she goes in on Michael for how he spoke to her.

Frannie is weird with her fake mole and fake accent.

Mollie had a lot to say about Belle. I think she’s clocked that they were in the top 3 and doesn’t want the competition.

Also, Belle’s accent! Anna does something similar.

I think Belles dad looks quite fierce, in the Danny Dyer the way. I think Anton will be quite nervous . I do realise it’s the parts he plays but he seems to have that presence

Alice I said the same about Belle and her accent but no one responded. She seems to switch. She never spoke like that in the beginning. She was a bit giggly and sweet now she’s gone all street.

I get frustrated with these threads and the contestants themselves. How long has Michael known Joanna for? 2 weeks? Why the hell should he sacrifice his last week or so in the sun with his mates for her? What a ridiculous, meaningless gesture that would be. And all expected because someone did it last year yada yada.

It's a game. It's a competition. It's not real life. People will behave differently in those circumstances.

Joanna was an absolute brat to Michael immediately after that vote. Maura is a stirrer - God knows what she's doing with Amber and why the hell did she say she was surprised Amber went to talk to Michael when she more or less told her she HAD to??

Michael isn't the brightest but can't you see his frustration? When Amber went and Joanna came in he took his chance to stay on the island with a steadier partner. I can't see he's done one thing wrong other than telling Amber to sit down a bit forcefully last night. But the man has been incredibly patient with this whole dragged out Amber nonsense.

I hope he has fun on his last few days.

Tommy couldn't have been less sympathetic to Francesca when she was talking to him about Curtis in the kitchen. He's an old fashioned sexist idiot imo - doesn't know how to speak to women unless he's trying to get in her pants. He's totally charmless.

Michael is frustrated that people aren't listening to what he's saying about Amber and Joanna, ie. that he thinks he and Joanna are better suited. I'd be annoyed too.

I remember last years characters. They stood head and shoulders above this lot. They are so dull and bitchy

Re Amber/Michael I agree that he knows he looks like a dick for not leaving with Joanna, I also think he maybe thinks all the gossip about them getting together is the reason he and Joanna were split up? He’s angry with everyone for not buying into his relationship with Joanna and is annoyed that he hasn’t got his own way - to be with Joanna on his shitty terms whilst oscillating between vaguely stringing Amber along/pondering her as an option and shutting her/it down periodically when it starts to cause conflict with Joanna.

I’m sure if Michaels feelings for Joanna are genuine then it must be incredibly frustrating to hear that people think he still has feelings for his ex. But a decent bloke would sit the ex down and kindly and gently let her down. And he has never done that. The first chat he had with her he had a go at her for shouting whilst she wasn’t raising her voice, next he had an incredibly flirty chat where he basically told Amber he chose Joanna because she reminded him of Ambers energy. Next he sat down with Amber in Joanna’s presence and yes things were made clearer then and then we had last nights unbridled anger. I thought he still had feelings for her and that’s what the islanders were seeing when they said he stared at her etc, even Joanna has seen it! However I now think he’s staring at her in anger, anger that she hasn’t behaved the way he wanted her to and complied with his narrative. He’s a nasty man.

Well if I were Michael I wouldn't leave either. Especially after she grabbed his face and called him a snake - she's known him for 2 bloody weeks. Can you imagine if he had grabbed her face like that?

He clearly doesn't want Amber either so the rest need to shut up and stop stirring the pot, it's not fair on either Amber or Michael (though he's a twat).
