Amber and Anna are very bitchy, along with MM, but Michael was quite cruel to her.
I remember in her VT she said she has never been rejected or turned down by guys and she has been rejected by Michael the last two weeks

Sunshine - completely agree. I think the 23 hours of the day we don't see have been spent with Michael trying to make it clear he doesn't like amber anymore and everyone completely ignoring that fact.

Must be so irritating. He was just trying to make it as clear as day.

Why is everyone saying they want amber and ovie? That would be the weirdest match. They don't go together at all.

And why is Anna still there?

I really like Belle and Francesca seems quite cute and funny. I wish Chris and Ovie were the original guys they have such good personalities.

I’m from up North too. Probably further North than you 😉 and I’m genetically predisposed to support the lass from Newcastle. However notwithstanding that for people to say that Amber is deeply unpleasant and toxic puzzles me because I just don’t see it. Yes at the beginning she was a bit ‘chaldish’ but since Casa Amor she has blossomed and been vulnerable and soft and just a generally decent sort as far as I can see.

Oh and Francesca is irritating. What is that weird accent thing she does all about?

But seriously he’s told her everyday he’s not interested and she’s like lalalala - in one ear and out the other! It was so obvious! Even people on here kept on saying he liked her! What did the poor guy have to do 😂. He made it so obvious but everyone seemed to isten to the producers narrative

I never saw any chemistry with Michael and amber - they rowed constantly and she hardly opened up - he spent whole time trying to actually be a couple but all we’ve heard for days was their ‘amazing chemistry’ 🤷‍♀️

I like Francesca. I feel a bit sorry for her as the other girls always look like they are excluding her. They only talk to her when they wanted to find out gossip about Curtis. From what I saw Joanna was the only girl to take any interest in her

I have always been up and down on Amber but to be fair I changed by opinion on her when she came back from Casa Amor. She can be bitchy and childish and prone to being a bit dramatic yes but I thought she handled that well on the whole. It was everyone else in particular Anna who blew the situation up. Amber has on the whole been very supportive of the girls and while yes she can overreact I don't think has been as toxic as others Anna

In my opinion Anna, Maura and Molly (mainly) are still the ones making the whole thing toxic! Micheal has been beyond clear he doesn't want Amber yet they all keep telling her he does really it's obvious he likes her ect, everyone was good and honest with Amy And Curtis but Amber has the complete opposite. Micheal handled it badly but I don't think he was wrong for making things absolutely clear! In fact it would have been unfair if him not to say anything after her chat with him the night before!

I 100% agree with molly though. If that was one of my friends I'd be having the same conversation with them.

I've never believed anton and belle really like each other, they just each wanted to couple with someone in the hope of winning.

Anton and Michael both seem.like they would be the worst boyfriends and just treat you like shit. Michael does seem much much worse though. I did think belle massively overreacted and made anton look like a dick though. She said all the other boys kissed people on the cheek, well yeah, because anton went first and you lost your shit with him. Who is going to risk that happening to them?

Michael started to get angry when the guys mentioned he was "whipped" - honestly it flicked a switch and he became vile. Veins popping out of his head and that annoying head waggle whenever someone says anything he doesn't want to hear. I think he is angry the public aren't backing him and thinks he was being dragged down by her so didn't leave. He had no intention of leaving with her; he would have said so within 10 seconds if he did. Hardly like they hadn't explained the situation!

Ovie is great but a couple of times I've wondered if he likes Amber...pretty sure he sniffed her head when they had that choice to make?

I like Maura but wondered if she has been giving dubious advice to Amber and Belle about the menfolk - talk to Michael and say how you feel/stay true to yourself. Also noted Curtis didn't rush over to tell Amber not to approach Michael with the "I still like you" despite knowing how he felt. Maybe the lads don't believe it either? I think the issue is she has been very mature since Amor and they can't see why Michael is so angry with her still - rather than saying he's just an angry little man they think he will see 'sense'; she's hot and clearly god knows why really likes him.

I really hope Ovie and Chris at least talk about his behaviour tomorrow. I think the rest of them are a bit blind to it tbh.

I've just seen Curtis's parents on This Morning. Convinced they're swingers!

If Michael wanted to make a statement once and for all that Joanna is the girl for him, show Amber and the villa that he made the right decision....then why isn't he on a plane home with Joanna?

Instead he's in the villa, still kicking Amber. Just like he spent his whole relationship with Joanna talking about Amber. And can't take his eyes off her (not because he likes her) because he hates her, wants to punish her and bring her down. Has said more than once he won't let amber 'win'....I think this irrational hatred for her all comes from whipgate. How dare she be sassy or confident, how dare she remain composed, he wants to crush her because whenever she shows any strength or composure she's undermining him.

I think he's a narcissist.

Not sure why Michael is staying when Joanna has left. She was in a shit situation, I’d be absolutely fuming and hurt too. He needs to just go now. But I didn’t think he was THAT bad during the Amber chat, just quite abrupt. He’s clearly selfish with an ego but I didn’t think he was abusive from that chat.

But what Michael has done,,that's the biggest red flag I've seen that a man is abusive. **

I have to agree with this. It really annoys me when people shout 'red flag' or 'abuser' every time a man expresses anger at any situation even if he's within his rights but this...... It made me really uneasy. He was angry that he messed up with Joanna so he went for Amber to teach her a lesson. It was horrible.

I think Ovie and Belle could have/might still become a couple.

The new girl is Ellie's best friend I read, not her sister. And Ellie shares a house with last years Stephanie Lam who is best friends with MollyMae so I really hope they don't try to pretend they don't know each other coz that would be bullshit. It's really pissing me off that most of the contestants have links to previous contestants. Like how fucking hard is it to find 20 people who don't know anyone who has appeared in Love Island??

I really don’t see what Amber has done wrong, yes she has been a bit bitchy, but then so have many of the islanders. Some people just have it in for her. Even when she is being spoken to like a piece of shit she’s not even allowed to make a comment back?

Michael is awful, saying it’s a test. Yes it is, and you failed it. It’s called Love Island not hang out with your mates Island. Joanna was spot on and hopefully she’ll see the real him now.
Ovie is a beautiful man, I hope him and Amber continue their friendship outside the villa.

It doesn't matter what amber has done, Michael has not right to be abusive to her and talk to her like that. It's never ok.

This is why so many people end up in abusive relationships. Because when the public witness it there is always someone who will say it's ok and the woman deserved it.

Amber was bitchy over the Danny thing. And that was egged on by Anna. But everyone said she was wrong at the time, She's not behaved badly since, other than the night she found out Michael had dumped her and she called Joanna a dull ting or whatever, of which she then admitted was wrong and said later Joanna was nice. Again everyone said she was wrong.

Either way it doesn't matter though. No man or woman deserves to be abused. End of, Micheal doesn't get to be nasty to her. It's never ok.

And people need to stop seeing a woman being abused and saying that's ok for whatever reason. It's not. It's never ok.

Does anyone else think that Tommy is only into Molly Mae because she's the only girl in his age group? DS and I were discussing this last night - he's the same age as TF and we were trying to decide why someone would go on a show like that at such a young age, when most of the other islanders are at least a few years older. DS said that if he were on the show it would be between Molly and Amber because of their similar age, even though he's not keen on either, but at just 19 he wouldn't feel confident enough to crack on with anyone older. We weren't sure how much of that was just his personality and lack of experience, or if it was universal to most 19 year old lads - he thinks his friends would have the same attitude.
