We are watching on Channel 4, UK pace and have only seen episodes 1 - 5 so far.

I thought we knew NICK had fought for Gilead. He was a son of Gilead, but changed his views later.

things is we knew this about nick in the first series. he was a young lad recruited through hero stories and been brave, that's how he was made a eye later. But at some point he must have regretted it, as he got involved with the resistance.

I think it's phenomenal - in reality it would be very slow moving and this is just so tense.

I was hoping that Gilead was close to failing but Washington seemed to show otherwise.

FINALLY stuff is actually happening beyond meaningful looks.

I thought it was beautifully shot... the caged birds merging into the Waterfords, Fred putting down a wedding ring for Serena that was marred with his dirty great thumbprint, the ring and the missing finger, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument.

The silence after “Hear our prayer”, because of course those Hamdmaids can’t give the response...
