Fizzy it was mostly cds by then, and cassettes- but a lot of people did buy videos and take them with them. It was like a mini shopping centre at the time. So we sold a lot to the airport staff.

9/11 and the 7/7 bombings changed things a lot though- I haven't been in the airport for years (despite being on the doorstep), but security means they got rid of most of the 'landside' stuff.
