I don't think so.. but I'd love to see Courtney Act on Strictly, she was rumoured lasts year but appeared on the Oz version instead, really hoping this year she might be a contender.

I think I've found her. Although not all the results match weirdly. I think it looks like her in the photos. Dance make up can make people look quite different though!

I'd love the BBC to save some money one year and just do Strictly with the pro dancers and any old/young randoms taken off the street. (NOT suggesting a bunch of homeless folk IYKWIM).
I think the programme would be just as good, if not better.
The joy in it is the skill of the dancers, the music (well, some of it) and the costumes.
The personalities are of no importance for me.

My dream line up would include Ant and Dec, never gonna happen.

I'd love them to drop the comedy training fillers (yawn) and feature young dancers from dancing schools around the country - or even further afield. I think we would see some stars in the making.

I assume Oti is still a pro - despite what everyone says Motsi has judged her sister objectively in the past - but I am as to why they have announced a new female pro as no female pro has left and even if they have more female than male slebs this series, they still had Luba in reserve?
Oti, Motsi and Phemelo I think you can see the resemblance.
Strictly Mum Dancing winged but they did try doing it without slebs when they did The People's Strictly, albeit they were all worthy in some way. Not sure whether they have ever considered a series of it but assume it would be harder to safeguard a non sleb from the inevitable press attention a whole series would bring.
You could get amateurs or you could get people with some experience like they did on Strictly Dance Fever but the main show is bigger than it used to be so you are going to have to be careful with press, mental health, physical injury caveats and non disclosure agreements in the same way as any reality show/tv competition.
Plus they already have The Greatest Dancer.
Don't get me wrong - the pros are as well known as many of the slebs now so you really could take anybody and I would still watch but I'm not sure how you could select a balance of people and pay their expenses but not a fee without it seeming exploitative/running the risk of an x-factor type sob story narrative or selecting someone vulnerable or someone wanting 5 minutes of fame?

Didn't an OP say that they're going to do an X factor/The Voice type training thing this year? Is it going to happen?

I saw something the other day that hinted at it being Honey or Keanu from Eastenders.

I saw a rumour of Jodie Comer, which I don't quite believe, but I'd love it if it were true!

I'd also be pleased with Jamie Laing & Alan Carr if those rumours are true.

I'd love Fearne Cotton to do it, or Greg James, but not sure they'd sign up.
